I will. You were right. Though for myself I always acknowledged it was possible. Like everyone else who remained invested presumably (including those currently saying 'told you so') I thought one of the products would come good before it became necessary. I'm 'fortunate' to have spent the time between the march drop and this placing bringing my average down, though god knows I should have waited. An understatement to say not happy to see my shares diluted. I expect the company to make good with the likes of AIHL and Covid PoC now that it has funding, and I would imagine that is the expectation of the institutional investors.

It's not a 'final blow' a4uk. I'm not at all happy to see my shares diluted or the effect of the lack of EUA on BC's work, but it does fund the company going forward with AIHL and Covid PoC upcoming.

Hi Stephen11, bit of time to reflect and I stand with my instincts of last night and my own plan to hold if there was a drop/placing. As said then, as displeased as anyone to see this dilution, however I invested knowing that GDR has multiple products and was not just a Covid play. Obviously I'd now like to see AIHL rolled out in the UK, finally providing more stability here (I am encouraged that sites including the initial NHS trial sites look to be in line). I'd like clarity on what exactly is going on with HCV, because on the face of it it's been successfully trialled in a study funded through UN without issue. I don't want to move investments from elsewhere as I like the other stocks I'm in, so personally just holding rather than averaging down but definitely staying in now with AIHL close. If this funding means AIHL gets rolled out and the Covid PoC brought out (interesting list of targets in the RNS, I thought things like cruise ships might come into play), we should be on a better footing.

Hi Stephen11, late reply, been away and haven't had a chance to digest it properly as it caught me out (literally, I was out today). Need a chance to read through properly to give a considered view. Short answer though is I'm holding as I intended to if there was a placing or any other drop.

Immediate thoughts are there are good products here and AIHL, Covid PoC, military, and development on TB etc all remain exciting for me. Need to get a handle on what exactly is going on with the HCV as I only had a quick look. Very disappointing to read the effect lack of EUA from FDA has had on BC efforts.

Placing at this level wasn't what I wanted so I'm as displeased as anyone about that, but having the funding to push these products forward may be what finally gets proper commercialisation off the ground, especially with AIHL so close. At least that's what the company appears to be aiming for based on my quick read. Anyway I always take a long view, and I know this market can turn on a bean (pun intended). Initial thoughts but I'll get a better chance to read through over the weekend.

I don't expect it to move much before news personally MrIndia, and to your question I would expect sept and Oct to be newsworthy re AIHL and Covid PoC, with an increased expectation of an update from BC on the Cov 96. Also I'd expect something re HCV sales broadly and also UNICEF deal but honestly no idea when. We may get something re military but I haven't had a good look at the US budget details to see when that might be. As for price, well it may waver down towards 40 but anywhere in the 40s is a low mcap already so not particularly worried about further drop. No doubt will be wobbles up and down depending on updates before proper news . Good news will bounce it and we should get some soon (I know, but we should given forthcoming releases). Jmo ymmv

I don't think so, I think that's a stretch. BC are very much about workflow and automation afaict, hence their collaboration on the Covid kit (which they are ongoing marketing and I think we will see results there). I don't think there's a clear link with them to the PoC devices however, and AIHL is being brought to market by Inspiration Healthcare. Very exciting nonetheless and as others have said the AIHL's unique and already put through its paces in the NHS.

Honestly guy, I couldn't give a hoot what he is. Personally never feel locked in to my investments, that's part of the deal, either stick with your buy-in if you're confident and maybe average down or pull out and go elsewhere. Now if he genuinely feels quite differently about this co than I do, that's fine, but he's on here all the time badgering frantically, especially when we see some pickup. It's not normal to take over a board repeating the same attacks on the CEO over and over. Either disaffected former investor, paralyzed current investor, or something else entirely. Draw your own conclusions but don't excuse his barraging this board.

@MrIndia it was an update on one of the upcoming pieces of news we're already expecting (AIHL, the other being the Covid PoC), and a good one. I'm not sure why people were expecting big movement before the actual release though. We are in proximity now of news that will shift it. The fear is misplaced therefore imo, and the thing about being here is that the type of drop seen before is not going to be seen as we're already now low. AIHL alone will bring us up from this low mcap once out, but not much before. It's unique, desired, and in PHE. Hold on there pal.

The mcap here is already tiny, just compare to some peers. There is intrinsic value. Didn't think we'd get down here but it looks like the low (compare to previous chart and products are more advanced). Realistically any one of the products can bounce this now, never mind Covid. (I remain very positive for the next couple of months given AIHL and cov PoC due)

Yeah I'm in copl too doge, been a bit if a damp squib so far but profit is profit. Generally quiet summer with low volumes across market, but for a positive note imo will not last much longer ('sell in may and go away' syndrome). No predictions but I do expect things to begin to pick up overall as we turn into sept. Jmo

@riskisreward "most population now double jabbed" I assume you are talking about UK and parts Europe here? US is currently circa 51% double jabbed afaics (not to mention countries in Africa et al). Anyhow, the thing about PCR testing is that it will remain long term. Variants are getting through vaccinations and we will be testing clinically quite probably for ever (as indeed we do for flu using pcr).
