My shares have always shown on my Halifax account. I can’t do anything with them, you have to call, but I was hoping to just leave them in the hope they start trading again on AIM. Not sure if this is a viable option but I don’t see the point in paying more broker fees to transfer them unnecessarily.

I think I would join you in that! Anything to recover some money and get out of this mess would be welcome!

Has anyone who bought through HBoS heard anything? I’ve nothing in my corporate actions folder and annoyingly our post is currently delivered around two to three weeks late these days. TIA.

I’m not an overly sensitive, cancel culture, woke warrior on a mission to be offended by the slightest thing… I’m far too old and un-PC for that! All I asked was the the OPs not use the word ‘Jock’ to describe Scottish people. As a Scot who has worked in London, I’ve heard it used not quite as a term of endearment several times, so associated it with a derogatory term for Scottish people. Just a request, wasn’t expecting a pile-on! Thanks.

Small time, relatively new to all this investor here! Clearly picked a winner with Lekoil for dipping another toe in the water after starting with Flybe!
Can someone please give a ‘for dummies’ roundup of what the latest RNS and TR-1 mean? Have Lek lost some sort of drilling license because there are not enough funds? Now that the TR-1 is out, does this suggest the (what seems like obvious) suppression of the share price will ease off and it should start to climb now that Spreadex have loaded up on the cheap?

I have very little knowledge about share dealing, only bought in here as a ‘start and see how I get on’ investment, however from the posts on this board - and the fact there are massive volume trades and no share price movement - I get the impression some think there is something unusual going on? If so, is there anyone with enough knowledge, who could draft a letter to the FCA that we could all copy and send to look into such concerns? Perhaps if there is suspect behaviour with this share, enough complaints to the FCA could prompt them to investigate?

Having been made redundant from an airline going bust myself, I know the absolute heartache and misery this imposes on you - turns your whole world upside down. I really feel for the staff. However, I really hope those involved in the theft of the company get absolutely screwed over and lose as much as possible! And I hope the LHR slots are lost to creditors and don’t somehow end up in the hands of Virgin Atlantic... if they are not already! Although I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened back when the route moved to Gatwick so they were ‘in the bag’ already!

I take it from reading this tonight the vote on the shares has happened today! I got a letter from Halifax - dated the 26th February, stating I had to respond by the 18th Feb!!?? When I called them, I was told this was a ‘typo’ and I had until the 18th of March to cast my vote! I’ve had nothing but ‘ums’ and ‘erms’ when dealing with Halifax. Not sure if it’s their incompetence or Flybe’s! So I’ve not been able to cast my vote because of someone’s incompetence! Is anyone able to advise whom I should best complain to? Sadly a lawyer isn’t in the budget so needs to be a letter to...???

962... yes I mentioned it was the Connect offer, which she seemed to have information on, however she kept saying that it was already an agreed deal so there was nothing to vote on. I was calling from work so short for time, I’m going to try web chat on Wednesday and copy/paste the RNS as Tav suggested. It did seem however that the guys at Halifax are a bit in the dark too.. at one point she did tell me she had seen this whole thing was a mess from ‘the news’, so perhaps Flybe are not the best at communicating!

I’ve just spoken with Halifax who said the communication they had from Flybe was that it was a done deal and there was nothing to vote on! Does this sound right to anyone? I asked for my share certificate number to contact Flybe, however she told me I don’t have a share certificate as I am a .... I didn’t pick up what she said next to be honest!
Surely this can’t be right that it’s a done deal and we have no say on it??
