In-House R&D Programme for Bitcoin Mining

The board of Quantum Blockchain Technologies (AIM: QBT) is pleased to inform shareholders that as part of its new research and development (‘R&D’) strategy in respect of advanced proprietary techniques for Bitcoin mining, the Company has entered into a one-year service agreement with a UK based international cryptography expert whose specialism is cryptocurrency mining blockchain optimisations.

Steve, the 1st RNS in the history is 2021, easy enough to check the history in the RNS tab.

The exact words were:

“I was also pleased to meet with the ASIC manufacturer at Bitcoin 2026, where we presented our progress and aligned ourselves on the next stages of development. We look forward to reporting preliminary results to this company within the next couple of weeks.”

So news releases now starts to fall within this time window.

It’s not late as some would have you think, the word couple is a lose timeline to allow for a bit of slippage.

Fascinated by those on guard of positive chat on a board.

My guess would be someone has a ‘War Chest’ to deploy on the right news and the battle is to keep the SP low with a negative agenda driven mislead.

This was my exact thoughts on why would an ASIc Manufacturer part with what I believe is 10’s of millions of industrial secrets with source code and asic know how.

My point on the bonds renewal date was to do with the previous update on Bond meeting, but only today has it been officially added to the new date December 28.

My point being, news on options can follow or not as the case may be.

My angle was to try and work out what price QBT place on themselves as a reasonable expectation of Share price, I have seen so many varying amounts mentioned, I think you may have said 5-10p, obviously news dependant, I have seen a thread mentioning 10-59p, for clarification I think 59p could be a little bit optimistic imho.

What do QBT think they can achieve, option extension if it happens will be telling.

Sellonthespikes, I joined LSE a couple of months ago, mainly due to the way LSE requires a subscription or wanting you to agree to a plethora of advertising, so joining was the solution.

So are they given free issue or subscription?

They have expired currently, but I would have thought they would be renewed as per todays extension announcement.

Will this be the next item to straighten the paperwork.

I have a question on these, are they given free charge to the recipient or do they need to be subscribed to?

Google seems to suggest the recipient would need to buy them but is not clear.

I gather the price would need to be above 5p and 10p, does that have to be on a weighted average of so many days?

I would imagine that they would be renewed with new date and same terms?

New investors is great for consolidation and platform to spring from, need a stable base.

But we were down when other were up, it’s so hard to gauge what we will do, £8 going to be broken at some point though, seems a tough cookie to crack.

That’s from Google, no mention of a trade cancellation on its own, because it’s 2 trades as per explanation, cancelled then reapplied.

So I’m guessing your attempt to make a negative point again has been thwatted.

The above is what I posted at the time, the subsequent 5m trade provides substance for my thoughts.

KK, the 2 x £49k trades were above the mid, I would be surprised if they were sells at that price because the SP would suffer, it’s more logical they were buys at a favourable price form placing stock imho.

Koolkat, from what I have seen written, placing shares go out to entities only looking to make a small % as their business model, they have very little insight into a company for what is basically a flip.

What is more interesting, is the desire from those purchasing these shares newly available to the market.

Look how those shares were hovered up and then the further stand out trades of 2 x nearly £50k buys and subsequent trades after.

Personally I find that a lot of cash for a general PI to spend, more like institutional or professional investor, whose criteria and risk assessment will be very disciplined.

This is my opinion before I get lambasted.

1st ten mins in the morning will be very interesting, hope HL will be on the ball and allow some trading and not return negotiated trade.

Lots of side ways trading today. New positions or micro trading happening? I’m of the opinion new hands other than PI are loading ready for the next leg up.
