Bid Vote result tomorrow. Hopefully some news, or possibly Friday.
Could get interesting once the 120p is off the table.
As of 30 June 2022, the Company had net free cash(4) of $127 million compared to the last reported balance of $139 million as of 31 May 2022. $78.5 million of Convertible Bonds remain outstanding and are due to be repaid by 24 July 2022. Following the repayment, assuming oil prices remain at over $90/bbl, at the end of July the Company is forecasting to be holding net free cash in excess of $75 million. If oil prices for the July cargo are above $110/bbl, the net free cash forecast increases to be above $85 million.
Ref KPMG Appointment which a few people questioned earlier.... 20 May 2016: Clive Hyman joins the Board as a Non-Executive Director. Clive is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, having practiced at KPMG from 1983 to 2005
Amazed to see the SP is down this morning after MIDAS article. Represents even more of a bargain now I think.
Mail on Sunday coverage http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/investing/article-2720576/MIDAS-SHARE-TIPS-Vertus-strategy-focus-customer-service-pays-off.html
Will this bounce this aft? Apparently Goldman Sachs have downgraded ASC to Neutral. So I'm guessing this is contributing to todays dip. Wonder if the SP will bounce this afternoon when the US opens.
Share price up from Fridays opening price of 46.5p to 50.5p today. Article by Investors Chronicle on Thursday was very positive.
A correction to my earlier post, results are now due on 26th November.
Wow, look at that transaction just shown up from earlier this morning. £71.25k. Wonder if news is imminent on refinancing/farm out?
I see VTU opened their VW site in Boston over the weekend. Another positive to add to the extensive list.
Very interesting RNS today acknowledging a buy of shares with a value circa £335k, by a member of the Burt Concert Party. I'm interpreting this as another excellent endorsement ahead of the results on 25th November and there has already been a share price uptick today.
Let's hope the activity this week is a prelude to news on the promised deal
16th Oct for interims, see posts below, excellent news is expected.
Bought in here mid day, bit of a speculative one but worth a punt I hope.
Large rise in SP today. Wonder if AIM shares being ISAable from today is a factor, as Vertu certainly present a strong investment case.
Excellent trading statement yesterday. VTU have lots of cash so are ideally placed to take advantage of the recovering market both in terms of acquisitions and trading. Their manufacturer partners will be anxious to retain market share & focussing on the UK in view of the relatively poor performances in the rest of Europe. Having the cash to do deals will give VTU a distinct advantage over their competitors, in so much as their funds enable them to acquire vehicle stock in bulk quantities & therefore cheaper.
Good sign when the Chairman spends £50k on shares I think. "Cambria was advised on 10 July 2013 that Raigersfield Capital Limited, a family company controlled by Philip Swatman, (Chairman of Cambria) and his wife Rosemary Swatman, acquired 165,000 ordinary shares at 30.5 pence per share."
After yesterdays new 4 year low, a bit of a rally so far today, I guess following the trend of the 3 main holdings, Rio/Glencore/BHP.
Someone just unloaded 540000 shares at 3.75. Hopefully the seller has gone now.
UK Car sales up 11% Y on Y for May. VTU ex Divi today, yet share price up. Good Company & fantastic acquisition of Farnell Group Land Rover franchises.
