Calamari - "Bleak House" ... made me genuinely laugh out loud.
So you think a fictitious Lawyer created by Charles Dickens in 1852 will delay indefinitely the sale of some prime Russian assets in 2020?
Makes you wonder how millions and millions of houses ever get sold / bought each year when law firms are just hell bent on delaying the process. Or maybe... maybe it's them conveyancing fairies doing their magic again??

So lets see... we’re 37p at stumps , just 7p short of my increasingly feeble looking 44p prediction – is that right Ian?
I think so. And that tells you everything about the rise we’ve witnessed in the last few days. Seems only yesterday I agonised before making a small 17.3p top-up, clever boy... father would've been so proud. But flogging a 1/3 of my holding at 27p with the certain expectation of buying back at 22p was proof if proof were needed why some of us are destined never to take delivery of a brand new Aston Martin Superleggara Voltante. Somehow a battered 2002 Yaris 1.1 just doesn’t turn the heads
Ce la vie
As Ian rightly said, our man Rowka was indeed a ‘complex character’ ... then suddenly ... just like that.... he’s gone, leaving everybody wondering ‘who was that man anyway?’
Good old Rowka
Whoever he was it was clear that for him it was all about the thrill of the chase. That much was obvious. And now the chase appears to be drawing to a close (hopefully) he touches his hat and rides off into the setting sun. It's so corny only a few could get away with it. And he did. And I say good luck to him.
Like all good legends I do hope he doesn't return, unless of course for the Christmas Special – it’ll destroy the mystery. And we all need a little mystery in life. But if he should return under a different name he’ll be easy enough to spot – copious links with endless cut and pastes and a sky high head-spinning price Aston Martin ordering price prediction...
Oh it's a mystery...

Guys, guys, please......look at the mess you’re making of my favourite bb. It’s starting to eat itself fer chrissakes
I have a nose bleed as I type... not because my lovely lady wife has me in a headlock for putting the wrong bin out (it was in fact the right bin just the wrong collection) but the hate in this room today is simply off the scale and overwhelming me. It's...it's too much
Guys, please ... can we all just get along?
Well can we?
All this talk of [Oneknows] “...rotten chicken nugget” [Mozerrocks] “...rotten fish...” [Comicstar] “...same old rubbish” [Energyshares] “...Chinese ready meals”... So is this what we've become ... turning my wife’s cooking into a subject of LSE debate? Is this who we are?
Surely we're better than this?
Stop it. Stop it now or I’ll ask you to stop it again but with capital letters and exclamation marks.....in fact .....
STOP IT! JUST STOP IT!
John would be 80 today but for the haters
Give peace a chance

that's one impressively modest speech itshenderz, well done - here's TWO lidl magnums and a packet of chilli peanuts ... all set for one helluva party at yours even with just 6
Rock on
Indy
There you see... seldom does a one word [huge] LSE post trigger an immediate 10%+ spike in the sp. In recognition of your discovery and disclosure, step forward itschenderz and on behalf of grateful nation accept this fine Lidl magnum of Prosecco.
Speech!!

Hi guys... just taking a breather from writing my wife’s Christmas cards to friends and family in HMP Belmarsh (yes she wants to get Crimble out of the way early this year so she can put all her energies into next year’s National Log Lifting Championships in Darlington ... that’s assuming Boris doesn’t put the kibosh on another major sporting event. #pray for Darlington)
I’ll be really honest guys, I’m feeling a little sombre as I type this; not because these darn Superdrug plasters are way too small for my wife’s verrucae (arrggg!) but reading through yesterday’s and some of this morning’s posts I sense a growing impatience, nay, weariness even amongst our Avacta ultras.
Our Lord and Master, Ophidian, has seen fit to do what all Messiahs must do in the end - leave us to spread his gospel amongst the non believers (often referred to on here as "twats"), the sinners and fornicators, the woefully uneducated. (I guess I’ll take the fornicators).
Richken who would normally draw 40+ upticks per post now barely struggles to attract 1 (still lovin' that soaring positivity Richken... keep it coming... especially the bit about £250 per share by November). And all this impatience puts me in mind of an ancient Greek fable about a Hare and a Tortoise...
For anyone from Leeds unfamiliar with this classic yarn: an upstart Hare and a completely stoned Tortoise have a race, and although the Hare wins by a country mile and goes on to make £billions and £billions, the Tortoise is completely chilled about it. Why? Because he’s focussing on an entirely different race, a marathon that he can’t lose because there’s no other competition... Clever, huh?
I guess what I’m really trying to say is... just remember why you invested guys.
I do. I remember. It’s about a... it’s about a... a phone charger... no! no! ... a game changer. That’s it.
It’s about a game changing phone charger that will transform the world and one day all our patience will be rewarded with an RNS that will blow us away. Not all of us – many of us will be long dead before then, but for the few that remain; those that can still remember how to hold a spoon let alone why they invested; they will be blown away.
So... hold fast guys!
Keep the faith
Never give up on a good thing
Remember what makes you happy

Cooky1 - that's a VERY sly way of asking us to reveal our ££ holding - and since I have absolutely no idea who you are I'm more than happy to tell you...
My last, last top up was @ 1.51 leaving me maxed out and strapped like a distressed wet teddy to the Avacta bumper ( or 'balls deep' as they say in Leeds). Current value? £201. Yep, I know - thank Christ I had the foresight to open an ISA trading account. Imagine the tax man getting his teeth into that lot! I'm holding for gold Cooky1 - in my case an Argos 'Sports-tech' Premium Multi Gym (with stepper) for my lovely lady wife.
Hold on tight to your dreams

Just read through all todays riveting posts and here are just some of my highlights:
PL75: “Who... gives... a... single... sh.t?” And... that's .. how... you ...use ... ellipsis...
Chiron: ALL your posts are so devastatingly erudite and unemotional they could only be written by a Vulcan.
Are you?
Vulcan I mean.
Part Vulcan?
A true Vulcan could never lie.
Timster: “..” I disagree
Timster: “Twat” I agree
ab8dct: “The problem with flu is that there are lots of varieties” Hence: ‘have I got Flus for you’ Come on ab8dct - pay attention. (some people)
Orhyblue: “You are a cretin mate”. Nope – never mated a cretin. Cretin tried to mate me once - didn't end well.
Leeraynes: “...that’s aimed at u bell end” Spooky – my wife said the very same thing playing darts the other night
And she wonders why I can't stay away from this board
Get some sleep all - game changing game changer RNS early tomorrow.
Can you feel the Affirmer? Well can you???
Indy
Hi guys, sorry I haven’t been allowed to post for a while but my lovely lady wife has now reconnected the internet following my stupid, stupid (think man! think!) omission to put the seat down and I’m now literally trembling with excitement as I type. No, not because I finally discovered an effective treatment for my wife's recurring cold sores and excessive sweating – I’m shaking because as an Avacta devotee (all praise the risen lord and master Ophidian) we – all of us – are literally on the cusp of changing the game with our game changing game changer affirmer platform courtesy of Cyril – sorry, Sir Al.
Guys... can you feel it? Can you though? I know I can.
I can literally feel it coming in the air tonight so don’t be surprised if a game changing RNS game changer drops tomorrow or maybe the day after tomorrow. Definitely within this decade - and you take that to the fcking bank Alwaysweeing!

All this talk of 80's / 90's nightclubbing sends me careering down sentimental alley.... I don't recall anyone who wasn't either (a) in a band or (b) trying to form one when I left school in '83 - but what else could you do in a city with mass unemployment?! Jobless youngsters today have training opportunities / social media / computer gaming / dating apps, you name it to fill the time and dull the creative instinct. But in Sheffield in the 80's the choice was either Pebble Mill at One and Mr and Mrs, or... form a band.
The result was an intoxicating creative boom the like of which could never be repeated today unless they banned the internet and forced people to seek out / create live entertainment again. It aint going to happen - and you only have to look at the dire state of British music to see the consequences. British bands / artists utterly dominated the globe until the rise of the internet.
The Thomson Twins. Heaven 17, The Human League, ABC, Def Peppard, Pulp... instead of knives and forks Sheffield literally started spitting out quality bands @ 10 a penny.... I recall having a pi ss in the Limit Club one night with Jarvis ****er to my left / Martin Fry to my right / and Phil Oaky stoically holding it in behind. There were so many up-coming bands that rehearsal space was impossible to find - so as a cheeky Young Socialist (who isn't a socialist when you're 17 ??) I persuaded the Leadmill manager to let us rehearse on stage one Sat afternoon. He agreed - until some arrogant little s hit (the yet-to-be-famous Morrissey) told us to clear off claiming he needed to do a sound check. "Who the fk are you?" I asked.
He answered a few weeks later on Top of the Pops :/
Fast forward 4 decades and like many here I seem to be on the cusp of making far sweeter music with EUA and GGP than I ever did in my Sheffield band. But I'm not counting chickens - learnt that lesson from sxx - my final prediction (Ian, please note, thank you) is a conservative 55p, well short of the price mooted by many. But whatever the final outcome, no one can deny the articulate forensically researched case consistently made by Rowka week in week out on this board, and in the face of some pretty mean spirited criticism at times.
An LSE Legend in the making?
You'd be daft to rule it out.
Indy
Rowka - I salute a fellow Limit veteran... I played there in '82... but then if you fell out of bed in Sheffield in the early 80's you were in a band ... the Human League, ABC, Def Leppard, Heaven 17, Pulp, Cabaret Voltaire... extraordinary time to be young, gifted and unemployed in the Peoples Republic of South Yorkshire :)
Indy
In the great scheme of things it's irrelevant I know... but I simply cannot let this pass... who's the numbskull on this thread who cannot spell "money" ????
Trying to make what you cannot spell simply beggars belief
Indy
A first for me - literally about to call a Spade a spade....
SpadesAspade - I'm not sure what promoted that Mothercare flash sale but maybe you take me or yourself or this board or for all I know life itself a tad too seriously. Or maybe all of the above?
99.9% of everything I say I say in harmless jest. But happy to spell it out
Big hugs from Tiny Tears
Indy
Rowka: appreciate your response, thank you. And while I was taking it in it suddenly occurred to me - not all govt corruption / regulatory shortcutting is necessarily a deterrent - depending on the buyer. On the contrary, I can't imagine it being remotely a deal breaker for, lets say, a China based buyer.
Saxonaxe - I've followed Rowka's copious postings for a time now and while I don't pretend to know him from Adam I infer enough to conclude he really doesn't need an ex squaddie to fight his battles if indeed battles they are. And you Sir won't be coming anywhere near my soup or tambourine.
Give peace a chance
Indy
Hydro... I've followed your posts over many months with at times a Frodo like awe in the presence of Gandalf. But Sir, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible you could be wrong? In other words... and I say this tenderly.... affectionately... from one Yorkshireman to another....on this very rare occasion, I think you're talking c..c...cods wallop.
Indy
Rowka - CV: unless I misunderstood you (apologies if I did) you declared a few weeks ago on this board that you were ex special forces... I know two people who certainly were but they wouldn't dream of revealing it to strangers on a public forum. But that's not important. Your posts project a conviction and coherence that like most everyone else here I find compelling. What you did / did not do in a former employment is your own business.
I return again to my one and only misgiving when it comes to this share - someone made the point today that GGP and EUA now enjoy price parity and yet EUA dwarfs GPP in terms of what's on the ground. But can you honestly say allowing for location - specifically the corrupt / unpredictable regime with jurisdiction over that location - GGP doesn't have a distinct advantage to potential buyers? To my knowledge Australia isn't subject to any kind of economic embargo nor, more importantly looking 10, 20, 30 years ahead, is it likely to be. You simply cannot say that about Russia whatever the allure of its vast natural resources. To ignore that fact as a buyer would be a dereliction of due diligence which is why I think whatever price is finally agreed will be half of what it otherwise could've been. But even that should be significantly higher than today's price which is why I'm not selling
Your thoughts?
