Seems to be a mention of 20m for a road, which I would guess is the access road that is to be built to help avoid everywhere. I would have thought that this would be fairly easily explained bearing in mind there was always going to be some grants available from effectively Europe for all manner of community infrastructure. I had understood that this is being commissioned by SAV and the past comms have said that tenders have gone out though they haven’t confirmed that this was to be funded externally, just detailed as part of the total costs that need sourcing at some stage. Whilst an item, it’s not make or break being a relatively small % of total needed.

He might well have contacts in high places. That said it’s the people in the highest of places that are under the scrutiny and allegations.

I always found the about turn from ‘never in a month of Sundays’ to ‘of course you pass mustard’ was pretty suspect regards Lusorecursos. My naivety put it down to political desire to develop the nascent industry even though there have been a number posters here, and elsewhere, who have more than hinted at internal networks, let’s put it like that.

Bigger problem for legacy OEMs is that they don’t really have the products and whilst some bemoan the loss of margin when Tesla reduces their price, it is simply increasing the loss of the existing makers. Many many thousands of jobs in Europe and US depend on this industry being viable. That transition period has been taken up by too few of the existing manufacturers in any meaningful way when faced with Tesla / BYD

However much you may believe in SAVs potential, with the in house brokers target price around the 20p mark, Sprott’s 8p may be regarded as being more within reach and be seen as readily achievable from an independent commentator. It’s a starter for 8 as a numerical dyslexic on University Challenge might say.

But let’s not forget that this is based on current 28mt Jorc resource which will perhaps grow over the coming months beyond the 50 mark and potentially well beyond that as things develop. Might require Sprott to reassess sooner than they might expect but if they have flagged SAV to a wider audience in the meantime, then that might help life become more interesting.

VWs star may be waning and I’m not sure that BMWs hydrogen launch will get too much traction at present.

There were hopes at the time(couple of years ago) when the refinery was due to be closed, that it would be repurposed towards a lithium refinery. Seem to remember the local council killing that idea with it being veered towards something green / ecological and Galp / Northvolt’s Aurora then announced their site further south.

The article seems to report the impact for the workers, finally. Maybe they should look to make sure they use their votes wisely to impress on their elected politicians that paid employment has a value to be measured against dolphins, however cute they may be.

I have two sons and it has been interesting to watch as they transition from boys to men, taking their own decisions and responsibilities. I see some similar traits with SAV as they look to develop relationships and look to find suitable partners for the longer term development not just of the current BLP, but perhaps a wider portfolio. I certainly hope the new CEO can see the opportunity for his place in his country’s economic future. Maybe one glass of ribiero del duero over the norm, but not far from the truth.
