I have significant holdings and going long or bust if your wondering.
Is that strictly true. Only in Feb a coal or copper mining venture was approved. It can’t be that different or worse pumping a existing hole v digging a crater in the ground.
Are the tribes / government trying to back off the deal of allowing MATD recoup all costs? Powers trying to terminate existing contracts due to lack of investment / going bust/ having to sell to petro China
Confirmed it is a valid Bloomberg domain, owned by Bloomberg.
Refinery target completion by 2023
That is probably going to more likely 24/25 with current issues and new tech.
But if refinery is processing all current Mongolia oil production, it will be running at 50%.
We just don’t want any new shafts being placed near to ours in the current producing block. Not sure what is there to stop that from happening now we have proved the basin can be widened.
Hi all,
Could somebody explain what happens in the merger. PMO shareholders will make up 5.5% share ownership of new group. But ultimately what does that mean for a normal shareholder when it happens. Can the price still keep going up and a final merger price will be advised in future? I don’t want to get caught out. Thanks
I don't know what to make of this movement.
I only remember us being given $5M for Shell pulling out.
Leading up to the Bergen deal the share price for some magical reason rocketed to 38 on no fundamentals beyond wildcat drilling prospects. Then plummeted on each issue as Bergen dumped the shares.
How they made any profit on the dumps I do not know - as they were not meant to be allowed to short MATD.
Somebody made a lot of money, many lost a lot.
It is true that there may be other more immediate opportunities. Although I haven’t seen a flood of RNS so most large investors are using other funds for those.
However, from a medium term investor rather than a traders point of view...
- we are not producing significant volume for prices to impact the programme
- most activity is exploratory / realisation with volume coming further down the line when prices would be assumed to have recovered to some degree
- producers are impacted which provides opportunities to acquire active sites on the cheap
Unless we get bought out, it just seems like a good time to average down and wait
Don’t invest what you cannot live without
Haven't been in for a while, but it used to be around $30-35
The problem is that they not only have to service the debt by paying the interest, they also have to meet other criteria.
But note that they would have forward sold the oil and don't necessarily have to jump into new contracts based on the price in a sharp dip. Obviously they have to hedge that its a sustained dip.
Problem is that they can never be seen to sell them. Bit of a market issue. But they have stated that they have exposure to shares via another vehicle and that I assume avoids them having to declare buys and sells.
Same...there are loads of companies that can provide domes (or custom fit ) that could consume a drilling rig and any working areas that need some insulation and heating.
.
Price getting low for Petrovis to take majority of dilution and average down last investment. Just trying to ignore price movements until producing first barrel.
Can the well produce during the cleaning?
I’m picturing lots of cleaning fluids being pumped into the well and mostly crap and fluids coming out whilst this occurs.
Are we expecting an RNS if there is a meeting or phone call at Block? Are we expecting an RNS stating that they have some ideas or some negotiations that aren’t agreed and that they are trading of negotiations between multiple parties but thought it best to advertise publicly all the details?
No, no, no.
It takes weeks to add a server to the environment I’m at. To negotiate deals critical to the future of the company surely requires time. To put any physical resources into action such as Gas takeoff surely takes a very long time.
I don’t expect anything until 30th Sept
If earlier just a bonus and I do hope for that.
Don’t bet on it.
There is zero point in talking to potential investors to buy shares on the open market. That doesn’t help the company one jot.
The directors are also not that driven to get the price up, as they are the last people allowed to sell their shares, until they’ve left the company.
Expansive growth requires quick cash. But if it’s all good news then the price will move regardless.
I would have to agree and disagree.
So many times sentiment raises the price, then people sell just before or on news, as it could be good or bad.
Look at the top 100 holders, so many pi’s.
If the interview was worth jot, explain the recent rise in volume.
Looks like it’s consolidating well this morning.
Always little spikes early doors.
Come on, grow!
Or falling
My buys showing as sells.
At least I’m 100% sure it was a buy, as money certainly did not go back into my account!
Seems the system fails on a quickly rising market. Always took them as just volume.
Was in both, but think matd placement coming. Although doing well for past few days.
Here seems all positive, placement done.
Just need few more weeks of high volume and placement price will be history.
