getting way too bored of this, watching other shares fly up with this sitting like a duck going neither here or there....very frustrating times....no sign of any recovery as far as SP goes.... we await end of Jan results but will it just be yet another disappointment....?

no doubt about it. nor is there a doubt getting a contract. Doubt still remains whether we can see out a contract smoothly....

ship that seems to be sinking with the market currently...i'm soo glad i didn't jump here on the recent spike....plenty of time to jump here yet IMO. GL to those who are holding here.

30 lee fabs

we probably get one the following month if we don't see one with the half year report followed by the usual on in late jan...that's probably the one i personally await the most...by than we should know whether we complete the 303 lee fabs for GDG and the money banked. heres hoping anyways....

Its the half yearly report.....looking at previous years its came on the 24th in 2014 and the 30th in 2013. so based on that it will likely come in the last week of sept...fill ya boots...LOL

It seems that our new lower bottom from the previous lows of 7s is now reached....hopefully we don't dip any further from these prices. Price looks to be pretty firm...other bigger stocks that interest me such as Ophr and Glen have been nose diving recently with no signs of the bottom so i am in a way glad my money mianly is in GDL which i am currently sitting at bottom. I await patiently for the next update to reach us in sept for a nice little kick up for the SP...

so i don't know much about GEL. good RNS today. Can anyone give me a low down on any previous contracts GEL have had and whether they have met the targets? Todays RNS clearly states a target of end of year....anyone think this can be met for further work? Its all good having a contract but not worth the paper its written on if one cant deliver... i was tempted at the recent .65s but just didnt have the funds to take a punt then. Just thinking of longer term view here. thanks

Hi Iomron, nice hear that your still around. Doubling last years target...we can only wait and see what the September update brings. This will indicate how close we are in completing the 30 GDG wells by year end. The part i took with a pinch of salt was that RG thought he would finish these before year end and gain further work off GDG...at least we know that he could be getting funding sorted for GDG by year end/H2. so the second tranche hasn't disappeared at all... he did say were not looking at Indonesia at the minute given the continues own economy but Australia looks a good shout...but a decision still needs to be made.

So them sitting there gathering dust doesn't kill any life time so long as we service them when we need to use them. RG did say we have a shiny rig sitting in Italy so if we can even get to do a LifaBric well in the UK at some point its not too far away to ship over. He also said that we will only look to drill LifaBric in the UK and not looking to drill just vertical as LifaBric is where our future lies. He continues to be very positive about the LifaBric tech after seeing continuous steady production rate for the ones we have drilled for GDG thus far...

Have a lot of life in them. A good life time according to RG because our rigs are digital so they usually just need to replace the chip or the software.

In partnership with GDG so we will continue to drill for them in an indirect way bai GDG contract for sure from what I got.

I know your frustrated like most of us here that just want to see the company susceed cos we all like the tech here...one inshallah it will come good. Live and hope as there's no point me selling in single figures either... Every other company in my portfolio seem to be either in an unmanagable debt OR dilution after dilution year on year. We don't have that problem here which is key for me, we just need the fecking drill bits spinning enough to make a profit and slowly progress...
