Thanks Anthony im fully aware of the Phases of clinical trials. I just don't sit easy when companies use deliberate language like "not futile". However in other reports and updates the overall language used seems encouraging and just wanted to discuss something that people may have missed.

Going back to MRx-4D0004 i really think this will through a curve ball into the SP. Everyone is getting excited about MRx0518 but here we have a phase II study on a Covid drug and very little chat about it. This brings SNG to mind for me when I was following it through is trial phases. The language used by the key people for Mrx-4D0004 is far more positive for me than with with MRx0518.

4D's Chief Scientific Officer, Alex Stevenson, commented:
If MRx-4DP0004 is successful in this study it would represent a highly significant breakthrough in the global fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic."

Dr. Dinesh Saralaya (Consultant Respiratory Physician and Associate Director of Research at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and the National Institute for Health Research's (NIHR) Clinical Lead for Respiratory industry studies), commented:
"As well as its appropriate mechanism of action, the highly favourable safety profile of MRx-4DP0004 makes it a particularly attractive candidate for COVID-19 patients, and may potentially allow us to prevent or delay their progression to requiring ventilation and intensive care."

Thanks Anthony and although not futile the wording is not very encouraging is it?

Nickel we can see what is happening but some people just dont want to believe it even when its right in front of them i experienced the same with another stock that recently bagged big style.

While we are awaiting news on Mrx0518 for IBS i would like to ask if anyone feels comfortable with this statement about the drug made by the company "The interim analysis of the primary endpoint of the IBS study (described more fully below) shows that the study is not futile and 4D pharma plc is encouraged to continue the analysis of the full trial data" so they say "not futile" why are people getting excited over the Q3 update.

I would go to say that the SNG style rise could potentially come from the Covid Phase II study on Mrx-4D0004 or the MRx0518 in combination with Keytruda which is 6 months away yet at least?

If i were to add to Heidhonchos post then we could perhaps talk about the fact that now the warrant holders are sitting happy and haven't had to exercise, we could be on for a rise towards news without interruption.

For anyone who want to understand why the SP dropped below just refer to Heidhoncho posts he said it would most likely happen yesterday and its exactly what did happen! Well presented Heidhoncho both yesterday and today. I wished more people would acknowledge the good post more often rather than focus on the Ramps.

If I was a warrant holder I wouldn’t want the warrants to vest this week.

If the 15p closing sp mid price does not hold till close of business on Friday the likelihood is that momentum will be lost and the sp will drift lower.

Then I would look to buy my 50% holding that I sold at 17p (ish) back at 13p or lower, thereby pocketing a minimum of 4p plus per share, and returning to my previous share holding, whilst still holding my non vested 13p warrants to benefit from when the anticipated results increase the sp down the road a bit.

Don’t forget, until the warrants vest they do not have an exposure to any unforeseen risk.

Now, if I was a warrant holder and have a sufficient volume of shares that I could feed in as sells to “manage” the closing sp to be below 15p either today or tomorrow, then I know what I would be doing.

Great write up and nothing better than seeing a company sort out there differences and go back to what they do best make money.
