This share reminds me of the movie Rainmaker (am adapting it for RR) -
The film tells the story of a middle-aged men (that's us) suffering from unrequited love for the Rolls Royce company however, we fall for a con man (RR Board) who come to town with the promise that they can make the share price go up with a bit of restructuring, cost cutting and selling of large parts of the company.
The con men eventually get called out - but its a happy ending as the share price eventually goes up as RR finds her true love - Airbus who buys out her airplane engine making division. Trying to have a bit of a laugh here :-).
:-) Daily shafting currently in progress. Hopefully US open does the standard reversal.
Was looking a daily trades and people selling bathes of 10, 25 shares , even say a buy 1 share. Its fascinating stuff lol
And down she goes ....
To be honest such a disappointing share , am so over the fear of missing out on some major rise that's going to happen a year out, just want it back to 110 so I can get the hell out of dodge . Sorry for being pessimistic - just looking at my day trading portfolio and down 33% due to RR.
The proportion of people dying in England fell in April to its lowest level since records began, figures from the Office for National Statistics show.
Just 851.2 people per 100,000 died last month – the lowest figure since the ONS started recording mortality rates in 2001. At the height of the first wave of the Covid pandemic last April, death rates were 1,859 per 100,000.

My opinion as stated earlier is that all Boris can claim to his credit is the vaccine rollout so he needs to prolong the COVOD drama as long as possible, once things are opened up he needs to deal with the mess he has created via Brexit and all the silly promises he made to get intro power (The north is waiting - more jobs, more money, more benefits etc...)
So all through the pandemic the share prices kept rising (RR and others) on no news and when we finally open we drop like a rock :-)
And the reason is inflation? Got to love it - the institutions cannot loose.
Good callout, am heavy into these leveraged via IG.
Today I start selling and plan to exit by end of the month if things don't start to improve (sold all my positive long positions this morning)., FOMO has made me keep buying, one needs to know when to cut losses.
That's the point I was trying to make, who is making a profit at these prices, certainly not me. Had the self appointed RR chat guru's lecturing me on why the price is falling due to profit taking.
My view is we are being set up for a takeover (pretty much the fate of any British company with value - GSK the latest on the cards)- once it gets announced we should go up.
And down she goes again. Am pretty exposed on this share - have a fairly large long position via IG at 109.6 average.
Are the RR guru's on this site holding long term today or buying and selling the dip to get free shares :-), to date I haven't been able to get the timing right.
I hope so.
Have been told that when ever the share price drops its due to profit taking, alot of profit taking on this share over the last 6 months or so, time for the little guys to make some money too. :-)
Have a good day.
Good morning,
Decided to take a punt on Sound again (did that many years ago but sold out before the meteoric rise from 2p to 60P etc.. when it was called Sound Oil).
My take is - on good news (RNS's to come) we may see a rise to 10p this year. Have I got it totally wrong?
oh dear - you actually believe what Boris and his cronies tells you. You made my day lol, you do realise he is in power because "labour" people as you define them voted him in up north. Boris is a poor carbon copy of Trump, unfortunately for mini me, daddy is no longer around.
