OM ... did you put in monetary value or number of shares ?

I have noticed something really strange when buying shares

This morning I tested the water and see if I could get a quote for £2k's worth of shares ... I couldn't. So instead of a monetary value I put in number of shares - there was no issue with 25k or 50k shares which is a much higher monetary value.

In the end I bought 60,500 shares - just a smidge below £10k - when it still would not give me a quote on £2k's worth of shares.

BBN ... I would just add two sentences ...

"On 28th August you could buy at around 21p a share"

"Yesterday - with all the added info and hints - you could buy at 16.5p"

There are times that the market offers amazing opportunities and I believe this is one of them.

They did ... due to the issue I think they need a slightly larger one

BB ... if it makes you feel any better then added 400k(ish) shares rather than £400k of shares ;)

I managed to grab another £25k's worth in several trades

There you go .... I pushed the SP up for you buying a few chunks. Very strange that HL wouldn't give me a quote for £2000 in value but would give me a price for 25,000 shares.

Can anyone currently get a quote on more than £1,000 worth of shares ? Not sure if it is a HL thing or MM's don't really want to offload at these levels

I don't want to mentioned HE1 too much as it gets confusing for people but the market just doesn't trust HE1 Board ... they seem to raise funds monthly and even though today was primarily good news the possibility of another placing has people worried.

The difference with HEX is night and day against HE1 as HEX is fully funded with funds for drills at both sites and extra in reserve. They will also actively look for other ways to raise funds as they are shareholders too and wouldn't want to be diluted.

The Ingomar Dome Project is Bo's baby as he has put all his year of experience and knowledge, and his cash, into it and if he believes it's a winner that's more than enough for me to have a little extra patience.

Troajan, I never knew they had such a fun journey ... must be what HL use ? I need to get another broker as HL just lock up at busy times.

I was just referring to your trade but yes I know .. Oberon's purchases on the 30th Aug were not shown until after their TR1 on the 2nd Sept ... it stinks more than a little.

Anything over 25k shares is delayed by an hour or two ... it has been this way for weeks now.

Needs to stop rising .... I have cash tomorrow to add more
