RE: Feeling something big going to happen in a good way12 Feb 2026 14:32
Fair value, will only come when the local snafu is sorted
Chuditch valued by TL Ambassador at $40+ Billion (for the bit Boil/SNDA have played with)
Sunrise valued at conference in 2021 pre gas price boom at $65 Billion
Shell that had both, thought on further development, Chuditch license all 3570 sq km they played with, would probably end up bigger than Sunrise.
Having spent $47m on it in the 90's (around $100m in 2026 prices)
Woodside have carried Sunrise on its books at $0.00c for the past few years, having previously marked down year on year, due to the local , no
home to go to issues.
So , many things could suddenly boost and return value to the long stranded gas in the TL section of the Timor Sea.
Plans to BUILD ,not more talk about building (had 25 years of that)
Funding (oz , japan, china , qatar, uae , other) and operator commitment for those essential refineries
Advanced plan for TL gas/lng imports terminal (not the main export multi string - sunrise set in stone stuff)
Any of the above, would probably prompt Woodside, to up Sunrise 5+ tcf from $0.00c back to the $350-400m is use to sit at for its 1/3 of license.
So where would SNDA be revalued against that......GLA
