The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Now that is interesting, also what banbury said which I concur with. Tekegraph plus LBC should do trick. Results are easily monitored. On other topic I'm amazed and impressed by how quickly they are turning around both sisters out of Tilbury. They're operating them like ro ro ferries!
Warmest regards to all. C Birdseye!
Each of the two sisters have around 100 cabins each with balconies devoted to single occupation. Happy to report that all single cabins are very heavily booked for remaining August staycation cruises out of Tilbury. Indeed so heavily booked both Scottish cruises ie 23 and 27 August seem to be 100% booked at this juncture.
Hi i
Didn't mention
Discounting. IMV it's not necessary. There is such a volume of potential customers you only need to inform of what is available, dates and how to get in touch. Customers are there in droves they just need detail's of whats available, that's all... We live in strange times!
Ps if you want a home for your proceeds take a look at Saga. It has some risk but there is massive recovery potential there now and billionaire ex owner has just invested £150 million of his own money to stsbalise matters recently... And Roger de Hann is no fool. You can see more on Saga board like this now. I contribute to it often as capitain birdseye. SHIP AHOY!
Thank you for your thanks! Only point maybe not covered is timing of rrceipt of cash proceeds. If you sell tomorrow you'll have cash in 10 days time whereas bid battle uncertainty could mean 10 weeks wait for cash if indeed it comes at all? Something else to ponder on, maybe!
You make a good point re grandparents but hang on in there. There's 9 million people in environs around London and a good percentage with no where to go on holiday this August. And isn't Tilbury in London? I'm sure a little last minute advertising on say LBC could fill all these cabins with ease. We need some decent marketing effort here IMO. Worth a little effort surely!
If bid goes through you will automatically get proceeds in cash into your account and shares will disappear from your account accordingly. There should be no or little stockbroker fees applicable
If eventual bid fails the share price will fall back
Maybe steeply say to 220p...depends on liklehood of another bid later.
You either sell now and pay broker commission as a result or hold on for higher bid being successful.
You either gamble on more jam tomorrow or take jam today. Your choice but I'm greedy for jam so will hold out for a further sweetener for now. Whatever good luck to you!
Agree Aug staycation cruise takeup looks disappoiting but were announced very late in day
So demand could take off if immediate radio adverising was employed on London airwaives. Also not sure if capacity raised too 100% or not which could distort figures. I'm keeping an eye daily anyway. Agree foreign cruises out of Southampton look more promising! Capitain Birdseye.
SOA 10 Aug from Tilbury to Scilly still available 166 standard twin cabins and 41 delux twin.
SOD 15 Aug from Tilbury to Scottish Isles still available 204 standard twin and 39 delux twin.
4 later cruises that month similar availabity as of 31 Jul
Does anyone know what total no of cabins of these types are available on these ships?
Sisters completely concentrating on short sharp 6/7 night cruising from Tilbury to mostly Scottish Islands, Scilly isles and West Country, or Wales throughout August. Seems to be plenty of availabilty as maybe now able to use 100% capacity now? I'll keep an eye on bookings and report back. Capitain Birdseye!
