With regards price of gold you have a point to some degree but the likes of China, India continue to buy gold not platinum. And living in the UK the price of gold relative to the Swiss franc is not of interest but relative to the uk £ it is and that is rising.

Indeed I wonder if the Swiss franc is underpinned by holding a large amount of gold?….. All good debate.

TomHH - that’s why you have to hold some WSBN. It can’t be a large part of your portfolio (in saying that it keeps becoming a larger % as it just keeps going up!)
