TPAO are about to produce from their 17th well in a field about 15 miles to the west of Pinarova which was drilled in August last year. The latest productions figures for the field are about 30bbls/m.

And yet they decided not to drill where they actually found oil seeping out of the ground and where they did a seismic survey right over where the seeping oil was found. I wonder why? Could it was because there is no oil below the immediate surface?
