UK onshore gas volumes in October rose with increased production from Saltfleetby. But onshore oil fell for the third consecutive month with lower output at Wytch Farm and a well workover at Wressle.

Şırnak is about 80 km from Siirt and much higher.

If you look at previous years when they were working in Turkey the snow was only ever seen on the mountains in the distance.

Turkey doesn't have the same regulatory regime when it comes to explosives compared to the UK and other EU countries. I once carried a highly explosive cargo of 80mm NATO shells to Turkey. Couldn't load them alongside in the UK and had to go to Holland to pick them up in a remote port (Eemshaven) but offloaded them right in the middle of Izmit.

Why there should be any delay because of weather for getting drilling done. The next Islamic holiday is not until March. From previous pictures the snow only visible on the mountains in December and January. This is a 365/24/7 business even if the BoD are not.
