I don't recall ever seeing a company announce the AGM before releasing the result. Is this usual??

Nice find DW, but after 10 years of been invested in AFC I'm struggling to get excited about a lunch.

All i want to see is a working fuel cell with a for sale sign on it.

Jut noticed no significant A trades since the 5th Feb when there was a flurry.

Just 10,000 shares traded all day and that was a sell put through at the mid. I couldn't get a quote for any quantity all day on Halifax, the most they would sell me 2500, though I could sell my entire holding.

Why is there a need for localized fuelcell chargers for cars. Why ship Hydrogen to a fuel cell to charge a car when they could just plug in to an existing mains supply. Isn't this just ITM in reverse?

Surely AFC original model of centralised fuel cells powered off surplus hydrogen with power fed to the grid is more cost effective.

What am i missing?

I don't think it really matters what size the final installation will be. As long as it's a working, commercial fuel cell that demonstrates AFC have a marketable product. They are going to need quite a few of these seedling units from early adopters to give the wider market confidence to buy at scale.

Pleased with the news but I do wish they'd get a wiggle on.

The board must have met to agree the options, surely they must have discussed the declining share price especially considering the number of PI who contacted them, yet the only info they release is about the options? Why did they choose not to release a no reason for decline or even an update to reassure the market?

Velocys, another of Abramovich's shares which has been hammered over the last few weeks release a statement today about the falling shareprice and the stock rises by 50%.

Perhaps AFC could take note!

Pipeline looks great, but they are clearly running out of cash fast so need to raise, but at what price?

I'm surprised Scott didn't get a placing away before these results

CWR did a 10:1 consolidation a few weeks back taking them from 16p a share to £1.60.

I note the headline on the LSE home page re: flow batteries potential for use in electric vehicles. I seem to recall REDT have done some work on this already, not sure if they hold a patent??

KevKan - considering we were told (on numerous occasions) Gen 3 would be launched in H2 we've actually waited less time than we thought.

Last time AFC went this quiet was when they were looking to raise funds. With the share price in decline my guess is a placing is on its way. Happy to be wrong

I understand why people are annoyed that Scott's salary can't be justified by the current performance but he has been absolutely clear that Gen 3 is the money maker so until this is launched there won't be any mega deals. I will judge Scott 12months after Gen 3 launch for now I will accumulate.

As the trade is delayed from Friday its possible the trade was a buy. At 16.01 a buy for 9.25 went through followed by the 1.175m at 9.3 a few minutes later.
