They don't seem very obliging at the moment, can't get a quote to buy any amount. Perhaps if i rang the broker...

No problem getting a quote to sell 100k+

It is a bit unclear how many shares are in issue here. According to this site its 548.74m giving a MC of just under £1m.

On the company website its 1,248,740,307 so a M/C of £2.2million.

I guess this site hasn't updated since the additioanl shares were issued so the company website it correct??

Also looks like Hot Rocks is a listed company on Aquis, ticker HRIP.

No problem buying through Halifax, I can get a quote for 10,000,000 at 0.1644

Hi IKFA, further to our exchange at the weekend, I just did a dummy trade through Halifax online and can get a quote to buy £500,009.72 (1,486,322 shares) at a price of 33.64pence before it goes to NT.

So 1.5pence above the current ask.

IKFA i posted a few weeks ago to say i could get online quotes to purchase £500,000 of shares in a single trade. So over a million at slighly over the ask at the time. I thought it interesting that it was exaclty £500k worth, a few pounds over and it went to NT.

So this was either Helikon selling short into the markets or a seller with a largish position to unwind.

I'll try again Monday to see if I can still buy this amount online in one go.

IKA and IES have very simlar charts - both up over £2.50 in 2021 to fall to lows in the mid/low teens. Just goes to show how quick senitment can change with some good news. Just waiting for IES to follow.

My guess is they're not in any hurry to close their shorts. Interestingly I can get a quote to buy £500,000 worth of shares online through Halifax. I thought this was interesting as it’s a cash amount not an amount of shares, almost as if someone (a shorter perhaps) was prepared to sell batches of £500k, unlike a MM who would (I imagine) sell in blocks of shares.

I've not been in this share long enough to know who is on the share register, any indication anyone is offloading and the shorters are riding their wave??

This is all pure guesswork, conjecture and conspiracy…..

But didn't shift the price hardly at all..... makes no sense!!

So do we expect to see any TR-1 notifications from those ii who took part in the placing? Or (and don't shoot me for this) was some/all of the placing taken by the Market Makers to clear their short positions from the recent rise.

Rick, for a person who presents themselves as only dealing in facts it seems strange that you're now speculating ITM's preferred partner status has fallen through. This may or may not be the case but what 'factual' evidence do you have to support this??

It seems to me you use 'facts 'that suit your opinion and resort to speculation, guesswork, and conjecture when they don't.

With £50m in cash and 440m shares in issue, cash value is 11.3pps. So took some at 13pence.

I think he's referring to British Bulls which advised to go short yesterday. British Bulls bases its decision on candlesticks, not on fundamentals. They are for short term trades not investments.
