Ex-div is today, so had to be holding yesterday.

Bought the dip the other day, got 64.2, was a bit worried it would continue to fall and i'd made an oopsie, but looking strong

Div is 2.43p, so you'd need a sell price of 186.57 to hit 189 :)

Afaik you dont get divvi shares/cash on yourshare or saveshare.

Directshare (BAYE) are CGT free if held for 5 years.

saveshare (SAYE) is not

It was stopped because it was reported that the company has to pay the difference between the buy price and the price people cash out at. lasts 5yr one was 82p, if people sell at 164, the company has to pay the difference.

Jansen said the company didnt have enough money to keep the scheme going.

Thanks Stupmy, everyone has their own tactics, this works for me more often than not. i only top sliced, so was still holding a big chunk waiting for that to go to 5.50, plus the extra i bought back with to trade around with.

fair enough if those that cant be bothered, but im sat at a computer all day anyway, so why not.
