Just seen your post so may have already been answered,

"why the price of EUA spiked in 2000"

It did not spike, you just haven't gone back in history far enough !

Eurasia Mining started life back in 1995 with 20,000,000 at £1, it was share dilution all the way as exploration is very expensive!

This carried on until the company today has 2,759,000,000 shares in issue! and is only now just starting to make money going forward.

Good luck everyone! hoping for another blue day here for EUA.

I do find modern e-commerce retail a useless system, you browse the internet and find an item at a good price from a retailer,

The item is shown 'IN STOCK' on their web page,

So you make your purchase,

They take your money,

They send you an email thanking you for your purchase,

Paypal send an email receipt of the transaction,

The company sends an email saying they are processing my order and will inform me once it is dispatched !

Later in the day, they email to say 'sorry' their supplier is 'OUT OF STOCK' of my particular item!

Hang on, your web page stated 'YOU' had the item IN STOCK, that is why I placed my order, NOT that the importer in the UK had one IN stock and you linked YOUR stock holding to indicate / reflect the importer's stockholding!

This company has refunded my money and its web page does now show the item is out of stock and new stock due in 1 week's time!

But rather than ring me up and say sorry there is a delay of 1 week, they just refunded my money and thanked me for my business.

On looking at their web page the item is now available to pre-order for £110 more!

So two things, if a company says they have an item in stock, they may mean the importer / wholesaler has the item in stock, not actually them themselves!

Secondly, I think in this instance they had incorrectly priced the item on their web page by £100 too little, and it was easier for them to just make out that the wholesaler had no current stock, rather than sell the item at a loss to them of £100 cheaper than it should have been priced up at!

If they had the guts to get in contact and explain I would have probably had just paid the extra £100 as it would have saved me the dispatch delay and been in line with another retailer's price anyway!

So, back to scouring the internet for the item, c'est la vie!

Bad luck, no major RNS today!

Still, we did end the day blue so can't moan!

It's going to be cold tonight and our road is just frozen ice with idiots behind the wheel of cars smashing their nice alloy wheels into the curb, then trying to drive one wheel in the grass verge and one wheel still on the road!

I did mean 'IN' the grass verge as with all the rain it is a bog! and they just don't care how much they tear it up and throw mud over the pavement!

I did in the past plant some concrete conical lumps using an old bucket as a mold, but that does not stop them, they try and be clever and park between them on the grass verge right next to the sign informing them that it is illegal to do so!

One chap was even clever enough to try driving over them! needless to say, that was not a good idea, he became very unstuck as it was now wedged under his chassis with one of his driven wheels now 60mm off the ground! I did laugh before offering to lift his car off with my trolley jack....

The BBC news has been reporting from Southend seafront about the bad weather we have had here, but to be honest, it is not that bad, just that the idiots literally can't drive when the conditions change for the worst, they don't clear the snow off their vehicle, just have visibility where the front wipers have cleard the snow and that is it, no brushing the snow off the car first...

I will sign off before I get really started on this subject!

Hi, James,

The problem you have is it takes time to trigger a stop, fine on the main market, with a slow trend, but not on AIM, if a flash crash was induced by the MM's by the time you stop was actually executed you may get even less than 10p and then the mm's take it straight back up again, it is of course up to you, but I never use stops on AIM and especially volatile stocks like EUA.
