One of the small city cars was the Renault Zoe, they quote say 160 miles per charge, what they don't tell you till you read the manual are 1, you must not charge the battery to 100% or you will shorten its life, so you can only charge it to 80% regularly so now can only travel 128 miles, 2, want to use the heater will use more battery now 100 miles, night time using lights 95 miles,
3, on a cold freezing day the battery has to warm its self up first using its own power before it can be used in earnest to go anywhere, taking up to 15 min,
Electric cars sound great but there are drawbacks with the lithium cobalt batteries, now Hydrogen fuel cells different kettle of fish....
