Something 'dodge' is going on as that flash drop from 1108 to 1101 in 1 minute (at 16:00) was not warranted based on the sell volume going through. Yes, its minor in % terms but it's the principle of why its happening that is annoying!

US company Oracle released their less than expected quarter results late yesterday. So obviously the market s***s themselves!

Similar lunacy when the UK market plummeted awaiting the Nvidia results.

RR has just under £½bn wiped off its MC due to the Oracle results! *rolls eyes*

Plus if knew the gap at 1020 was sooo obvious, why did you sell some at 1025? And were prepared to sell more at 1020. If you knew the gap was going to be filled, would you not be buying? (like me lol)

Just needs the larger seller(s) to park up for a couple of days to let it run. You can see retail want to take it higher!

Yes, algo's 'playing' is definitely happening! There is no other FTSE 100 share that behaves like this with sudden drops and also affected by US market so dramatically (both ways).

It’s the trying to understand why the sudden flash drops that would help! Was going well over 11.20’s with plenty of buys, then suddenly pop, down. Frustrating!

Not +£1 anymore lol.....back to algo-rigged flash drops again!

Allow me 'to do a retirment' for a moment.....

Whilst those were crazily panic selling at 10.20-10.30 a couple of weeks ago, I was adding to my holding at 10.22, 10.24 & 10.27 (also 10.54/10.52). Now £1 above the lowest buy, so happy with such a lift within 2 weeks or so. Said at the time, why on earth are people selling, its the pre budget/ market fear!
