Nomad Status - Update

EQTEC plc (AIM: EQT), the AIM quoted technology solution company for waste gasification to energy projects, announces that further to the RNS on 6 December 2018, the Company is pleased to announce that the transition to its new nominated adviser ("Nomad") is continuing smoothly and that the Company anticipates being able to announce the appointment of the new Nomad by mid/late-January 2019 following the completion of the due diligence process and a site visit to Barcelona which is scheduled for mid-January 2019.

In accordance with AIM Rule 1, if in the event that the Company fails to appoint a new Nomad by 1 February 2019 the Exchange will suspend trading in the Company's AIM Securities. In the event that the Company has failed to appoint a replacement Nomad by 4 March 2019 the admission of its AIM Securities will be cancelled.

This announcement contains inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of Regulation (EU).
