I’m pleased that Tesco is doing well again, led by an astute businessman.
I’ve shopped in Lidl, lured by their bargains and find them lacking; the stores feel like a car boot sale, they don’t have the range and quality of products to pick up a decent weekly shop and they don’t know how to manage the checkouts.
Confident in my long term holding in Tesco.

Tipped by Midas today, let’s hope it’s the start of something good. Although divs are good the SP has been in the doldrums for too long.

Jumped or pushed......at least it’s a change. Let’s hope it’s positive.

Something you don't see too often with Kaz.......cu price and sp going in opposite directions. Cu has fallen today but the share price has increased, thus far. A hangover from the results or a reiteration by Credit Suisse today....�9.50?

Highlander47 was "spot on" with his comments! It's very entertaining reading the comments on this board........... not compulsory to buy but watching and being patient is important. Who knows how this will turn out!

Another very positive trading statement from JDW today. What's the betting that GNK are downbeat, blaming Brexit, snow and potential WW3?

Pauloinson, I'm in here and wondering why the fall when the company looks ok. I read some of your previous posts and the one about GNK being a "solid company" struck me as I'm in there also. I wish I wasn't.........the CEO has been talking the share down for the last year and the similarities with CARD are apparent in my opinion.

Seems very strange, as you say the trading update was ok but then the CEO decided to spout some potential arse covering stuff in case of future problems ......I just hope there aren't any!

I hope the new director is doing a bit more than just sitting around eating Greggs chicken bakes?
