Proposed Directors of Tirupati Graphite explain why they have requisitioned an GM. Watch the video here.
I’m also interested to see how short positions line up before judgement. It was really suspect that shorts were opened just before the last judgement was hand down.
Huge news here.
I’m tired of sitting on the fence while others slate this share. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, but I think this stock is gonna be the news headlines of the year for massive returns.
It made 1.8 billion in revenue in 2021 - a year with 6 months of cinema closures, only one major release (Spider-Man) extremely few other releases, and general public fear of going out. In 2022 we have at least 5 big movies ( avatar, top gun, black panther 2, Jurassic world, Thor), no more lockdowns, loads more middle weight movies, streaming has been proven a failure due to piracy, and a recession (more people go to movies in recessions)
People who buy in now are going to smash this out the park.
Johnny coder, you should use your talents of observation and market timing to short CINE then? Do it right now!
Heres my prediction. And I think Im allowed to make one after so many people here are saying 5p/bankrupt/get out now/administration/ you will lose it all.
If we can avoid a dilution, this SP will be back at 120p in a flash.
The debt can be spread out long term and paid back.
For people buying now at 24p, you have a wild ride ahead.
Mountain - were there any people at the AGM that represented institutions?
Today was a hard day. CINE is a risky share and dropped more than others. I’m in now and not selling.
Debt is large - but can be repaid. No one wants CINE to go bankrupt or put in admin - then they’d lose a huge majority of what they’re owed. So debt will be reorganised.
A share issue is a real risk though, they’re definitely thinking about it.
A new COVID lockdown would be a disaster too.
A loss of appeal would send the sp low but it’s mostly priced in now.
Now for the reward side-
That being said, Mooky and his family are shareholders. throughout 2 years of a pandemic , not once did they issue shares.
Streaming is dying due to poor content and pirating .
Demand for movies is MORE than 2019. The only thing missing is Quantity of films - but this is increasing and quickly.
If CINE can make a revenue of 1.8 billion in 2021, it’s entirely possible they can double that this year at least .
If CINE can show in June a pass on debt covenant, and mid year results look strong, the sp will rebound very quickly, and then some.
It’s possible, and they’re considering it. But think about it - even during the worst stage of the pandemic, when they almost filed for bankruptcy, they didn’t do it.
It makes little sense to issue new shares at this low price.
Awesome thank you!!!
Guys o know this week is hard. But i still have faith .
Bonks you are not a ramper.
I’m scared to ask , and they may not answer, but, at what point will they need to issue more shares?
Also squid - HUGE difference between your "opinion" and advice . Your last post was "get out while you can".
You are trying to get people to sell to benefit your short position.

good time to buy.
CINE will have exaggerated drops compared to the market with this type of risk off environment. That's because CINE has more risk than most other shares...trust me, if there was any bad news, this SP would be in the teens today. The company is NOT going bust. The cinema industry is booming, streaming is failing.
the risk at the moment is the company raising cash from a share dilution. This is a real possibility.
On the flip side, if they make enough money this season, and don't need to issue more shares, and reach a deal with CP, this SP would boom to 120p easy in my opinion. Its done it before.
Until we get real news about income / debts this share will likely continue to find new lows.
Canadian courts have a history of bias towards local businesses…or so some news outlets say. Who knows.
CINE can’t afford to pay and seemingly they have not found an amount they will both settle on. This may well go on for years.
