Hey Leathal hang in there bud. Not the reaction we wanted. I am down 45% my last buy averaged me down a bit. Kind of wishing I was buying that last tranche now! But that is how it goes. Just gonna sit on the side lines and watch how this plays out. Senegal results to come as well as more data from this huge land package in Cameroon. Lets see how the rest of Bibemi pans out. Wondering if they will do a presser before the AGM to talk about results.

Not sure if we are in a closed period (don't think so) since AGM results are public.

It would be great to see an insider RNS with someone from the company buying off the back of the results so far! That would be a visible way to back up the sentiment in the RNS!!

Well at the current market cap I think a lot of bad news was priced in to this share. I do think it was a bit cheeky to put a deadline on questions for the 11th knowing this RNS was coming on the 14th. Anyone with further questions on these results should send them in.

Hopefully we see a rise in SP though as we still have gold in the ground that hopefully can be worked at a commercial level. I guess that would be on e of my questions to the BOD.

Well you all have a choice now the first results have come out.

You can sell up or ride it out and wait for more.

I am selling I don't profess to be an expert in the commercial viability of what has been discovered, particularly if there are any local government incentives for mining companies. However I will be holding it out and waiting on the rest of the results.

I have always seen Tim as fairly honest so if he is still excited about things then I will keep an eye optimistically open!

Well there is gold in the ground and we are formalising the process to own it.

Under the terms of its option agreement with Bureau d'Etudes et d'Investigations Géologico-minières, Géotechniques et Géophysiques SARL ('BEIG3'), the Company has satisfied the conditions to earn a 90% interest in RMC Cameroon SARL, which owns Bibemi, the Wapouzé project (20km to the north) and three licences in Central Cameroon. The administrative process to formalise this ownership is currently underway, including the formation of a new local subsidiary company into which the licences can be transferred.

We have 10 licences in Cameroon don't we? Eight contiguous & two. They are drilling Bibimi now which is split into 4 zones. I suspect Bibimi was chosen first as it is the best prospect?

Kutz I am not far behind you but I'm not overly worried. Just a tad impatient.

Like I say when the value gets put on Senegal that should see us sitting with a MCAP around 20M which would be the equivalent to 1.4p my average now is about 1.12 so I see a bit of upside for my position.

THEN we add in whatever Cameroon gives us with visible gold in the core samples yields!

This has turned into a bit of a 10,000M race, when I had planned to come and watch the 800M but the bell is about to ring for the last lap and then we'll see who wins!

Another point to bear in mind is that what we have in Senegal should push the SP up to and around 1.4p alone with the other royalties etc. I think it is referred to in this email. This is why I am more relaxed on the Cameroon results. If Cameroon was poor I'm sure the SP would dip a bit but hopefully Senegal would be the recovery play.

However visible gold in the cores going to the lab plus Tim with experience at Reservoir and knowing about these regions I think we should be good in Cameroon, could be very exciting time. Just hope the market appreciates it if the results are good.

Oriole Resources, the AIM-quoted exploration company focused on West Africa, announces its final results for the year ended 31 December 2020.

Operational Highlights:

RVD nothing wrong with a bit of hope and optimism, I've seen several interviews where Tim says "We're very excited about Cameroon". If the geologist is excited about Cameroon then so can the guys packing a few quid on the nose!

The added suspense and I'm sure they know how to bundle this up but it is literally only a segment of what they have in Cameroon too.

Thanks for getting that email response. I don't know why the business can't just tell the market their plans in an RNS, doesn't take much and it keeps comms going. It is better than having a PI get a response which then gets shared over social media. Anyhow I was going to watch Groundhog day again a little later still think I'll go ahead.

FYI you can imagine any IIs ask similar questions or set up calls with the BOD to discuss progress whilst waiting on news, so we aren't really doing or expecting anything different.

I genuinely must have missed that comment that said by the end of June i n 10 May RNS. The way i read it was "before the end of June" which to me meant a series of results spread over Q2 not crammed into the end. However, at least we know now. Perhaps I am splitting hairs.

Just to clarify I am not worried. I picked up on a few podcasts folks saying the markets were trading lower volumes at the moment and there was a bit of a lull going on. A few miners had decent RNS out and it didn't really do much to the SP. For the record I don't think it will be the same here. Why?

1. We have a decent piece of ground in Senegal where are neighbours are getting fantastic gold.
2. We also have 8 contiguous licences in Cameroon which covers a whopping amount of ground and is very attractive to a major if we start getting decent results. Since it is better to build as few Ore processing locations as possible.

I am a little touchy on the lack of RNS but then that could have been me misinterpreting what I saw. Any way I have shuffled a few funds around for the moment. So less pressure on me for another few weeks.

Yes I just hope when the news comes and if it is good it is well received. We are heading into summer after a year of lockdown people can now travel a bit and i can see the markets being much quieter in a few weeks time.

@Jack yes maybe, but yes the people like blytheway are their PR people (who don't seem to be doing much PR) since 10th of May. A little tardy to talk about delays at a lab almost 1 months ago and then not update again even if to say there are issues.

I know they don't like updating unless they have news as often stated by Big Tim.

@cekim. I hear you that is why i averaged down a couple of weeks back. That said I can't leave the cash i averaged down in here for too long as I need it for other stuff. We are galloping towards the end of Q2.
