SYME - Beware the Shorting Trolls (Castle/Rosie/Ex / Holly

A 'Short Troll' is identified as an ugly public nuisance who rapid-fires posts of criticisms about a stock in various investment forums or trading chat rooms. You know them well. They are loud and obnoxious and post often--too often. Every post is negative and they only criticise and do so unmercifully.

Traders/investors who analyze both fundamental and technical analysis to base their decisions to go long or short a stock is considered to be savvy. On the other hand, 'Short Trolls' are mental midgets who choose to go the path of least resistance and smear others. Perhaps they should wear brighter colors.

The daily deluge of never ending assaults can be nauseating. It's especially grand when 'short trolls' team up together and wage a collective assault. These trolls are like the boisterous town drunks who group up and stumble over to your party.

WHY Do Short Trolls Do This? Money-money-money! 'Short trolls' are short the stock and the only way they make money is if the stock decreases in value. For this reason 'short trolls' veer off into criminal territory and say and publish inaccurate information and even defames to adversely manipulate the stock price.

I saw the reaction of on the SP but, honestly, I did not get it completely. To me this was the best good news since months: my worries about Syme were not about the company to start monetizing something soon, they will get there and SP will pick up then. My worries were rather on the cash position something that they consolidated in the rns today bringing cash as equity which is an asset. I am not bother to be diluted 7-8% if the company has financial assets x% higher since I have less shares on a company of higher enterprise value, which is equivalent to have more shares on a company with lower enterprise value.The announcement today brings into the game the first institutional or, let's say, professional investor, that bring equity on the table in change of new shares, something that makes the Company more solid in terms of financial assets and long term strategic investor, something that Mercator definitely was no****rcator was just providing a convertible loan, working capital at a premium cost to Syme and syme's share holders, and that was anyhow diluting the share holders every month and depressing the SP at every round.I prefer to be diluted once and build real assets rather than every month going into a spiral, without building nothing but just making Mercator richer.??Remember that young companies die because they run out of cash, not of ideas. If the cash position is now solid, I am happy and ideas are the last thing that can go missing in an innovative business as Syme and TFC. This is why, on my personal view, the rns was positive to me.?...and probably I am not the only one thinking that way, as I could see at the end of the business day, big buys of 80ml shares, 11ml, 17ml, 80ml again

aptive Bank update: Quadrivio Group named

Supply@ME Capital plc, the innovative fintech platform which provides the Inventory Monetisation© service to manufacturing and trading companies, is pleased to provide the following update on its Captive Bank Inventory funding project.

The SYME platform aligns Client companies (manufacturing and trading companies) seeking to monetise part of their inventory for cash, with Inventory funders (banks, financial institutions and investment funds). The Inventory funders invest through the SYME platform into portfolios of inventory assets through Securitisation Vehicles.

The Company announced on 21 September, 2020 that it had entered into a strategic agreement with a leading European Alternative Investment Firm ("Financial Partner") and SYME's shareholders, 1AF2 S.r.l. and The AvantGarde Group S.p.A. ("Co-investors") to acquire a bank in Europe. Following its acquisition, the Bank will remain independent of SYME, being owned by the Financial Partner (who has committed to recapitalise it) and the Co-investors. SYME will not be a shareholder and has no costs associated with the transaction. It will, however, be the main commercial beneficiary of the acquisition which will provide funding through the Platform, via a novel "banking as a service" model.

The Trading Update on 30 November 2020 stated that the parties' objective is to complete the acquisition and the authorisation processes regarding the banking license during the first quarter of 2021. This timetable remains on track.

The Company also stated that it would provide details of the Financial Partner and its market position, once the acquisition was sufficiently advanced. The Company is now therefore pleased to announce that the Financial Partner is Quadrivio Group ("Quadrivio").

Quadrivio is an alternative investment firm with a focus on Private Equity, Private Debt and Managed Accounts. The Firm has cumulatively raised and managed more than €2 billion from both Italian and international institutional investors.

The Quadrivio fund "Industry 4.0"[1] will invest in and capitalise the Captive Bank.

The Captive Bank's objective is to be a cornerstone investor in SYME's wider Inventory funding programmes working alongside all of Supply@Me's Inventory funding partners. In this regard, an update on the Company's first securitisation issuance is expected before the year-end.

Alessandro Zamboni, CEO commented "I'm very excited to finally disclose to our shareholders this strategic alliance; Quadrivio Group is the right Financial Partner for this highly innovative banking project.
