The US v China tariffs has affected the market on and off
for a number of months.
I'm hopeful that Trump and China realize these events
hurt BOTH sides and there are no winners.
I'm gambling both sides will see what they are doing to
the markets, sheath their swords and lower the tempo.

Still see any Trump related event is a situation to be taken advantage of :-)

As for something else being afoot (since you ask).
Only US v Iran springs to mind, but once again Trump
thinks he has this covered. However, history tells us
Iran is not good at backing down an would let this lead o
towards potential conflict. Just my oppinion.

about the stock... price then was 1,775p... if only :-)

The L&G division, which provides home cover and pet insurance, was put up for sale last year.
