As far as the stocks covered this week, to underline the slings and arrows private investors face, the first stock is inventory monetisation play Supply@Me Capital. Fronted by a very smooth CEO, the company has had everything negative thrown at it possible. While some of this may have been due to the difficulties any company has in delivering a novel concept, even its detractors would have to admit the management here has been persistent, if nothing else.

Paul Johnson’s Power Metal Resources (POW) has a 28% stake in FCM, and no doubt his PR machine will be operational to back the company. At the very least a pat on the back is in order for all those concerned in getting away from the FCM deal in current stock market conditions.

Here, Bonnie Hughes talks to Ben Turney, CEO of Kavango Resources (LON: KAV) about the firm’s recently released conceptional economic viability report for its Iron Oxide Copper-Gold (“IOCG”) target at the Great Red Spot anomaly within its Kalahari Suture Zone (“KSZ”) project.

In the video, Turney explains the purpose of the report at this early stage, the potential scale of what Kavango might be looking at given the similarities between its IOCG target and the Olympic Dam IOCG project in Australia, as well as the company’s next planned steps over the entire KSZ project area.

Nanosynth Group (AIM: NNN) was another major AIM riser. It decided last year to focus its efforts on the synthesis and application of nanoparticles. After a positive trading update, three directors bought 1.33mln shares of the company. This brought the stock up 19% to 0.66p.
