One will mature in 2.5 years, one in 6! Might try to persuade my eldest to stay invested!
At least they can't touch their sipps until they are 57, govt tinkering depending!
It was just a few for my two girls Junior ISAs!
Just put a couple of orders in on interactive investor. they could not complete orders for 7,500 shares without going to market best. Never had this here for such small volumes
I just want to reiterate that sentiment. Thanks for taking the time to share your findings with us here. I have been a holder now since 2017, contributed practically nothing to this board but read regularly. Of the 5 or 6 boards I visit the contributions here are the best and I really appreciate them - you know who you are. Please keep it up even if it appears to be a small audience.
It is on the FCA website
Thanks for sharing Corpse - much appreciated
Ps Different gravy! Thanks NtM
In the event of a successful conclusion to our South Sudan expedition, my equations predict....86p!
At the recent meeting in London he mentioned long lead items in relation to the CNG, only being available in the US (tankers??). He also talked to a Apr-Jun 2024 time frame for completion. (pinch of salt required for time frame predictions of course)
Spot on Billy!
I may be naive but this looks like it could be good news. This isn't just a raise to see us through to Anchois:
"we are therefore looking to raise funds for a new licence onshore Morocco as we continue to expand our strategic footprint in-country. This licence will give Chariot near-term drilling opportunities with the potential to accelerate Chariot's timeframe to first gas. The acreage shares geological similarities with our offshore assets so we benefit from unique insights on existing 3D seismic and on-block well data and have already high graded targets for a first phase drilling campaign"
Did anyone get this far??
Yes - I wasn't clear. I was referring to first oil from Niger. Very happy to be wrong but my take away was that he didn't recognise the q4 2024 target and that it would be before then, q3 at the latest. The testing would be q4 this year. Will there be a chance to revisit it?
I heard it would be before q4 next year, q3 at the latest. I assumed q3 2024?
It worked perfectly for me.
Interesting times. I'm with coolmax; I think we are finally on the verge of something here. But then I am eternally optimistic! Not always the best trait for investing!
What price would you think constitutes getting our pants pulled down? Julian promised us 10x when we were at 9p and that remains my ambition. I could afford to pay for my pants to be pulled down at that price!
thanks caution - that is the nub of it. Who has control of the accounts of the acquired sub? If Chad then i expect we will see nothing more. I try to keep on top of things as much as possible but I dont recall a definitive position regarding how this payment / non payment is managed. Much remains opaque!
I was chatting to a friend yesterday and mulling it all over. Share price and potential wealth aside, imagine being on the inside of this story. Dealing with govts in Africa, causing diplomatic spats, Chad and Cameroon recalling ambassadors, civil war in Sudan. Chinese involvement in Niger, pipeline building, renewable projects transforming thousands of lives! What a rollercoaster! The politics, the manouvering, the personal risk! It must be so exciting! Looking forward to the book.
"Having made a contribution from deal completion in December 2022 through to nationalisation in March 2023, Savannah's upstream and midstream assets in Chad will obviously fall away completely in FY24F"
If I understand this correctly, this analyst doesn't think we are still getting paid for the Chad Oil. The suspicion was that given the accounts were in Barbados? the revenue was still coming our way?? Did I miss something?
Will this uncertainty strengthen our hand at the negotiation table? I sense AK is not the sort to be put off entirely.
