G_G_G - I can see debt in the £22 million of the loan notes due for repayment in May 2023?
DYOR
Thanks for sharing the link, yes it works fine :)
DYOR
The only concern I have is the repayment of £22 million in LNs debt (current value of £25.5 million) due in May 2023 and which is a liability. I assume this will be repaid from cash generated from operating activities, without impacting future dividends to shareholders. At least I hope so.
One positive I do like is "At present, the Company carries no reserves for Serenity and as such does not consider any estimated production or cash flow in its go-forward forecasts, thereby presenting pure potential upside value to i3's current share price." - so, if output is at the low end of expectations, then this should not impact the SP as it is now. And anything higher than this, should generate upside in the SP.
DYOR
SP had already baked in this update prior to today, so not really a surprise hence why little movement.
DYOR
Take a listen to The Sunday Roast interview with Pieter Krugel & Louis Coetzee which has just come out.
Interesting to see where this is going to go in the near future in terms of potential placing and what this may mean to existing shareholders.
DYOR
A slowburner. One for the bottom drawer for a few years imo....
DYOR
Yes, I agree. It does look like they are strengthening themselves for something, whatever that may be. I think it may be something more on the canadian side.
DYOR
I believe Orphan is in relation to orphan drugs rather than specifically vaccines.
DYOR
Leave boltok alone Tony, you are coming across as someone with a superiority complex and with put-downs to anyone that disagrees with you. Yes, you may have done lots of research and you may know your stuff, but come on - give us amateurs some slack and stop disregarding others with different or more challenging views on i3E than yours. Your view is not always the right one, be more open to others views rather than just put-downs.
I thank you :)
DYOR
It's not called 'Stella' don.
DYOR
JoeSoap - I'm not sure it was delayed to Friday as such? I cannot see anything to suggest this, unless I have missed something.
DYOR
No, I don't think its obvious to some Tony - hence the comments on this board questioning why the SP is not higher and why I added my comments.
Thanks for your comments anyway.
DYOR
I believe the following two points from last week's update have had an impact on the SP:
- delays to drilling caused by expected seasonal wet weather conditions and maintenance shutdowns at third party facilities
- full-year 2022 net operating income ("NOI" = revenue minus royalties, opex, transportation and processing) is now forecast to be approximately USD 200(1) million (based on current strip), versus previous guidance of USD 241 million, predominantly due to volatile near-term commodity pricing
Any sign of concern for PIs in updates/results, however small, will have a direct impact on the SP imo as investors look for any opportunity to not feel as confident as perhaps they were and potentially sell stock as a result. Given economic conditions, I believe PIs will remain jittery and will look at any opportunity to take cash off the table and small caps do tend to take the hit in these difficult conditions.
DYOR
Encouraging comments. It will be very interesting to see the updates in September and the impact this has on WHIs view, going forward. They have already indicated there is near-term scope to revise the 60.6p upwards, so lets see what the reporting brings alongside Serenity progress. Certainly a lot of positives today and going forward that will keep me invested in this stock and adding on the dips.
DYOR
But aren't derampers just those with an opposing view to yours. So you must be a ramper?
DYOR
At least this will stop the endless speculation about why the quarterly results are 'late'.
DYOR
It hasn't been in the 30s 'earlier' - if you mean today?
DYOR
It's an appraisal not an exploration - so there is already oil down there, its just about finding out how much and if it is a large scale as it is hoped - so it cannot 'fail' as you put it.
DYOR
It's just a price target - we all have one of those as PIs, so I wouldn't put too much thought into either to be fair.
DYOR
Moniman, I think its perfectly acceptable to have a balance of positive and negative comments on this board. Makes for a healthy debate. Let's face it, everyone has an agenda - that's the reason why all of us are here in the first place. Just accept that an opposing view, regardless of merit is fine (as its their view and not yours) and leave it at that. Well, that's what I would suggest anyway.
