It's actually been really interesting in that respect. Other boards would be full of hype on such a rise, but I think most of the PIs here are just cautiously optimistic and don't want to get too carried away. I've built a position in SAV since Dec '21 and it's been a long and, at times, very frustrating journey. We've always known the potential, so I've got my fingers crossed for us all...

I watched the recent investor update and the CEO mentioned that along with the 110m euro backing from the Portuguese government, there were similar plans/proposals made at the same time with regard to developing refining infrastructure. Does anyone have any more information on these plans/proposals? I ask because obviously the refining progress is integral to forming the necessary subsequent supply chain for li batteries, which - as I understand it - the Portuguese aim to establish internally. Not that I know of, but I am a little worried that the SP will perhaps stagnate now for the next 6-9 months. As I understand it, the final EIA licenses don't arrive until 2024, and I wonder whether SAV will only sign deals for investment once that has been completed? Just a concern - please don't think I'm trying to talk the share down - I'm currently heavily invested, and very positive on the future of the resource. Thoughts from more knowledgeable posters would be welcome!

My guess is 'lithium' is an abbreviated reference to the refined lithium hydroxide which is Aurora's business. Of course, that still depends on sourcing spodumene - which is where we (surely!?) subsequently figure into the equation.

KOD down 7/8% too & macroeconomic conditions are miserable But how the hell can selling 1.5m shares (about 60k) of stock pull down the market cap by nearly 10%? How ridiculous is the AIM?!

A great relief to finally have this approval - about time! Nice to see an increase in SP, but it's still far from any selling target price of mine. We're still highly undervalued - in my opinion. Might I also add that this messageboard has been so much more informative and interesting than some of the others on this site - long may the intelligent discussion and analysis continue. Starrfox and Inbrackets, in particular, have been outsatnding with their analysis and posts. Cheers to you both.

Aurora in the news. We get a mention. Fingers crossed here. Massive economic own-goal for Portugal if we're not swiftly approved, in my humble opinion.

Ali, legal requirement is a decision before 31st of May. So this really is the final strait. Could a decision come earlier? No idea. These portuguese authorities have hardly excelled in moving quickly though, so my money is certainly on the second half of the month.

I just keep thinking to myself nervously "Surely they [the portuguese authorities] can't screw this up" lol. Right resource. Right jurisdiction. Right time. I guess we'll see come the end of May.

Inbrackets, I'm actually quite re-assured by what looks like a gov veto on any final APA decision, but surely it won't come to that? I think it would just throw fuel on the fire for the anti-mining agenda. How do you see things?

Allegations of corruption on mining licences, I think - from a short seller (although their short position is on Piedmont Lithium - who, I think, have a JV with ALL). I tried to buy in just before suspension at 20, since I think the report looks pretty thin on content, but alas trading had already been suspended
This lithium investing game is not for the faint-hearted eh?! As we all already know, I'm sure lol.

It's the wider (albeit slow-moving) lithium tender (6 sites?) that gives me confidence for SAV. Deny SAV their EIA approval and you - in my opinion - kill off the lithium tender, since who is going to invest in a country that has demonstrated itself hostile to permitting? I, personally, do not believe the Portuguese gov will let that happen - there is too juch at stake.

Ironknut, I actually think we have the EU powers-that-be on board - it's the Portuguese bureacracy that gives me sleepless nights, lol
