A tad short of our recent 5.5 Billion forward selling day high......
Fingers, toes and bring on the contortionists, now due North Sea and sesimic update
arrives soon, becalmed before the storm..........GLA
:((
Ichthys is estimated over 3 billion boe = around 17.7 TCF
with production life 8.9 million tons per annum LNG
for 40 years.......
They did have a JV with ENI on the Eastern part of what is now AREA R
that contains Bayu-Undan, interested before so might return to the now
enlarged license area, to join ENI and Santos JV.
Jarv
Fingers , toes and bring on the contortionists, IT COULD BE THIS WEEK........
Not much of Q4 left , when the seismic update was due to be delivered, Upland
said a couple of months ago, completed July, analysis ongoing and initials look
better than expected..........so must be getting close
After their own recent hiccups , they could do with some news to brighten up
their own AGM on Thursday..........GLA
:))
Bayu Undan , on fumes and has been for 2 years, the main reservoir
depleted, 3 drills into offset reserves keeping it going but expected
to be also drained , in early-mid 2023
Hence the conversion plan for Carbon Capture but that involved building
a new gas input line to Darwin from Barossa, with the current line being
waste and carbon to Bayu Main reservoir storage.....
Barossa after many others tried, finally killed by the Tiwi Islanders and the courts
Santos need a new HUB, Chuditch could be an ideal replacement, shorted direct
route to Darwin than Barossa, which could then be revived, with a Westerly tie-in
to that HUB line.
Santos spoke of their neighbours at Evans Shoal as also possible users of the
Barossa pipeline, so that could be an alternate also.
But , it would be a laugh and a half , if they choose Chuditch, 2001 Shell plan
direct line south to meet and run parallel with current line to Darwin, back to
plan A , after 20+ years.......lol
;))
Everyone and his dog are in the Timor Sea , its the lack of them in
the Timor Leste section that needs addressing........
as said back in 2019, zip to do with Baron, all about the locals, rectifying
a situation of their own making..........GLA
;))
Read like they have taken last weeks news and added some sensation
Horta and Minister have made that threat a few times, need to put a
name with interest to those threats......
When Shell and Conoco had, had enough of being messed around they said
leaving , it was years later, that they did , after the Gov made a to be paid back
loan , from the Island wealth fund, to T/Gap for $650m for their share in Sunrise
Playing double standards with that one, in the past they had ZERO holding in
Sunrise , just 50/50 territory split and taxation rights and blocked everything.
Since, have played the , the majority owner (now TG) should decide what
happens to the field..........
And at each and every conference used , YOU are the experts we will not interfere
as a catch a fish line......
9 bids on 7 or 18 licenses , tells you what the industry thinks, mixed messages and
clarity on the rest beyond the Sunrise issue, need to be made.........
As said a few times, Sundagas plans to FPSO Chuditch
Island new September 2021 studies for Beaco , to coordinate development
of Chuditch , Kelp Deep and Sunrise together to ALL feed Beaco on commission
from a pipeline HUB at Sunrise (2nd study)
Clarity and it all goes ballistic..........
;))
INPEX - Ichthys fields 3 billion boe 8.9m tpa and pipeline to Darwin
in the Australian Timor Sea.......
Ok , got it
the area was the Western Edge of what is now AREA R, picked up by Santos
in the bid round (they have a Mou with ENI) ENI picked up P, which links
Chuditch and Sunrise and long thought holds the hydrocarbon kitchen
that feeds both.........
That western edge also contained the ENI , KITAN oil field - Drained but wider area
still needed explorations, Japans INPEX interested in the area in the past, perhaps
might also return, for Area R exploration with Santos/ENI jv.........
JPDA, mostly, like Chuditch where under Australian licenses, lots of names disappeared
pre the Sundagas award, the Chuditch was OZ license and operator Mizna......
Trying to find some follow up but pre the TLEA , Timor Leste Exclusive Area
under the disputed JPDA license area , INPEX and ENI also had a JV in the
area

Sunrise shows the 2020 update in the one day seismic , 7.7 tcf and 300mb condensate
(flowered by locals as usual - they are top end poss, vice the listed 5.5 tcf 250mb/c
That must have changed Fish
ANGS pr was great but false, not that many years ago as it crashed
from near 20p to sub 1p, like Lord Lucan on the BOD, lots of things
missing..........lol
;))
Likewise ANPM and Lao Hamutuk
http://www.anpm.tl/
https://www.laohamutuk.org/
None of the latest developments have made it to the Timor Gap website
https://www.timorgap.com/newsroom/in-the-news/
Osaka city gas, has a 10% stake in Sunrise , so would not read to much
into that statement , other than , when are we going to get our gas.......lol
;))
for perspective , Shells 26/28 wellhead FLNG plan for Sunrise was 4 million tpa
Ichthys 8.9 mtpa
Japan and France , funded a lot of the past 2 years of Dili Airport improvements
Australia last month announced another 35m to that cause......
A few months ago, the Japanese Government , paid vast sums to its leading Gas
companies, to go out and secure the country's future gas supplies.
So , cannot rule them out but the likes of Tokyo, Osaka and other city gas companies
tend to take a production stake in most things in the region.
Tokyo in Bayu and Osaka in Sunrise.......
;))
Map attached
Santos had a budget of $300m for the proposed new pipeline 2 project,
HUB from Barossa to Darwin (see map)
If they moved on Chuditch , they could build a shorter straighter pipeline
making Chuditch their new HUB vice Barossa.
Barossa, could then also be revived , with a Westerly tie in to the Chuditch to Darwin HUB
as it would not go past the Tiwi Islands, on the map the large Island lump above Darwin
The other half of that plan was for their current Darwin - Bayu-U pipeline to become the
waste and carbon capture disposal in the long depleted main reservoir at Bayu.
From the map you will also see the INPEX Ichthys pipeline to Darwin, one of the largest
projects in the region (capex $35 billion) it to, could utilise Darwin-Bayu CC facility.
(rider OZ building CC facilities of their own, in the NORTH, West and East)
Ichthys has a mere 3 Billion boe
with a production plan of 8.9 million metric tons of LNG per year
40 year production cycle......

Santos/Korean JV, Santos/ENI JV, Japan INPEX/Tokyo/Osaka, could all benefit, from Santos
pipeline 2 duplication project..........
Santos, must be thinking about, the alternate HUB locations available, as said Chuditch
ironically , similar straight South pipeline, as proposed by Shell for Sunrise in 2001.
;))
With the nice comments at long last, in the Islands delayed annual reports
(2021 after our announcement , somewhat late and questionable timing)
Sundagas , making progress with Chuditch developments....
For me , that's almost as good, suggests , T/Gap and ANPM on the same page
as SundaGas for what IT is planning, which has been stated FPSO....
Island has a 2nd project for LNG import terminal for domestic use in the North
Hera Metinaro near the capital Dili, time tables , projected finances, FID and
our own drill or drop , all blend pretty well together.
That was part of the South East Beaco complex in original studies , now separated
so its not Sunrise that is going to provide the Import Gas, just the Exports if and
when ever built........
Kelp Deep is as big as Sunrise and Chuditch put together but has been idle , without
an operator or license for years.......would take time they do not have......
Leaving them with one obvious , money saving project - Chuditch FPSO..........
mic drop..........goodnight..........lol
Time for tucker and the footy.........
:))))))))
