Sadly, IBB, too many people on here will immediately, unthinkingly, rule it offside.

Can I just ask, as really a very limited hobby investor, who really is here (along with other forums) for educational purposes, if there is any reality of a bid in the offing, a white knight, a guardian angel, call it whatever you will...........why isn't the market full of it? Why can't I go to the financial column of any newspaper and read about the bid possibilities being considered and the possible implications on share price? Why is it that the only place I can read about 40, 25, 20p is in this forum? I don't understand why the financial world is not awash with bids, takeover talks, share price 'boom' etc etc. Seems to me that the heavily exposed investors are talking it up............'hope is the last thing to die' (Rochefoucauld)

One interesting observation, Paul, is that you lose the principle discussion point and retaliate with an attention seeking retaliatory, mocking and accusative assertion as a diversion. This seems to be your 'modus operandi' It's interesting. My lecturer was right. :)

IBB is stating what would happen in the event of a bid. All here must make their own minds up as to the possibility/probability of such a bid in this case.
