Lgen has 66 billion turnover and 1.8 billion profit. Av.has 70 billion turnover 2.6 billion profit not as large as half but I jumped in on Friday as I see a rise in the next few weeks my only worry is how exposed av.could be to claims for interruption to business I wonder if that could be the gap in price between lgen and av.

If at the end of days trading the price rises on div day then the price went up not down if you were to say a share went down for 30 minutes until 8.30 but then for the rest of the trading day it was up would you describe that as a rise or a fall in the share price as I would say the share went up on div day so would describe it as a rise

Drop in share price dose not happen in every case if the share is under valued the share price can rise on div day eg bats went up last week and in general shares will regain there price over the next few weeks as long as you do your research and no disasters happen
