I really hope BoJo knows what he is doing .. in my view opening up of nightclubs where unvaccinated young adults will socialise under the influence of alcohol is going to hinder the roadmap to recovery and maybe put us back a step. If he is bringing in this mandatory step of only double jabbed can attend nightclubs and other venues where large crowds gather why didnt he push back the date to open the nightclubs in Sept.
I regret my decision not to pull out at £9.50 only a week or so ago .. but am 'hope'ful it reaches these levels in the coming weeks.

Hey Jonnie - looks like a bumpy ride ahead ..
One positive is that Biden is looking to make an announcement in coming days to open transatlantic travel between the US & UK/Europe .. depending on dates this could well be the boost the travel industry have been longing for ..
Definitely going to be an interesting week .. until then ciao and time to enjoy the British sunshine ..
Double-vaccinated people arriving from amber list countries will no longer have to quarantine Smithy, so makes no odds if the country is on the Green or Amber for these cohort of people. Bulgaria have now banned Brits .. lets see whether others follow as that would be a blow ..
We have a trading update on Tuesday - that will be interesting ..
Whitty has been out with messages that .. 'Covid hospital numbers could get scary' .. why the hell are we opening up everything from next week - FFS!! Lol
France looks to possibly hit the 'red' list with the outbreak of the S.A variant ..
Holidays will be short lived - 'hope'ing this ticks up to £9.50 in the coming weeks before I consider selling
GLA
Still think this will hit mid £9's-£10 before the summer season ends .. but as predicted in previous posts it is only a matter of time that Europe will begin to shut down due to rising cases and lack of vaccine uptake leading to pressures on their own health systems (inc. ours) .
Just my opinion - GLA
Slightly gutted not selling last week and reigning in the gains .. i'm 'hope'ful this will rise in the coming weeks once 'some' travel resumes .. holidays will be short lived - maybe 2 months IMO .. who knows - sitting tight until this hits mid £9's-£10
Having shorted this share, it is time to join the 'invested club', so bought in this morning .. still think it is ludicrous to be opening up on the 19th and scrapping everything especially with rising cases and hospitalisations but it does looks like BoJo is going with freedom day and 'Rona' to be let loose.
I can see this £10+ in the coming weeks following the announcement today but who knows, I guess it all depends whether countries decide to close their doors to us Brits - just dipping my toes in and lets see how it pans out ..
GLA
I am out of this share (for now) .. just a few thoughts -
- worrying how cases are still on the rise in UK (average 21k cases a day)
- schools closing due to children infected/self isolating (potential asymptomatic if travelling/socialising)
- Europeans not fully vaccinated and could insist on quarantine
- Furlough being wound down
- Customer confidence knocked
- Balearics possibly moving back to amber after rising numbers
- Cash burn rising and revenues suffering
Very uncertain times IMO
When Easyjet begin to cancel domestic flights between Manchester and Scotland following the recent Scottish Government’s decision to impose a Covid-19 travel ban, its only a matter of time Europe will follow suit .. Germany has already imposed quarantine for us Brits (a shame, but it is what it is) ..
Smithy it would be nice to meet you one day ;)
Hear it from the horses mouth .. focus is will be on the domestic economic delivery rather than ramping up efforts to reopen borders swiftly - lots of uncertainty still .. GLA

@vince1 I agree the airlines will boom hopefully as soon as next year - assuming there are no new variants causing disruption etc..
IMO the issues surrounding PCR testing coupled with countries being downgraded with very little notice from the so called 'green' list countries is a major concern and will put a lot of people off .. anyone with children in secondary school would not want to 'chance' a foreign holiday and a lot of people would not want to take up work annual leave to isolate.
Bookings for staycations have boomed (fact)- all of this will sadly impact on the numbers jetting away. Short term I cannot see how the SP will reach £15 (as predicted on this board) .. all IMO - GLA
