I’ve got a screenshot. I just opened it up and went to the IronRidge article, DM me on twitter and I’ll share it. Hfox1 @claudiohfox This is a different one http://www.africanmining.co.za/2018/09/07/west-africa-can-be-a-lithium-frontier/ Download it from this link and flip the pages until you get to IRR and Len http://anyflip.com/tcch/cdne/basic
February 4th-7th is Indaba 2019 and 121 Mining in Cape Town. Chief Geologist and COO buying more today, a couple of blue days means this is well primed. I’ve spent today solely focused on IronRidge and started with Vince’s interview with Andrew Scott. Everything is in there, just make notes as you go through it all and then dig deeper into each item addrrssed by Vince. Paydirt Magazine is dry but turned up a good article on Len, his experience and previous credits in uncovering notable geological resources. The final line mentioned Tintina in Alaska/Yukon. Why is that important?
Eish, the focus has to be on the Gold and the Lithium right now. Chad is unbelievable and Ghana is able to go full steam ahead due to funding raised in a challenging market. Ivory Coast is a pipeline of future projects too. Everything else can wait imo because now is the time to progress the Lithium with global shortages going to squeeze and increase pressure in coming months. Big deals are continuing. I expect IRR to be in a strong position and highly sought after due to the size and quality of the assets in Ghana and Ivory Coast as well as the logistics (see Toro’s comparative map). This is a very rare opportunity. I’ve tweeted last night about the gold in Chad and I think there are things people are missing. The pieces are there when you look at the detail of the geology, the scale and the way licences have been connected to form 1 or 2 big gold projects. TA will get you so far BUT imo understanding the bigger connected positions, geology, logistics and corporate strength together with a full analysis of the company structure, staffing, leadership, expertise and experience on top of detailed evaluation of each asset and commodity, drill, report, RNS, geophysics mapping, artisanal history etc, etc, etc will show you where the real upside is. Oh yes, spending hours talking to the CEO and the COO plus a Director has helped too. I also showed my IRR research file to NM briefly at 121 when he asked me about who I was invested in. It has some TA in it but showing him how I joined the dots and followed the DGR model was nerve wracking and more important than any TA. See the upside. A great share that will realise itself in 2019. Respect to Vince and Len and all the knowledgeable investors on here.
Mike29, I’m so glad they’ve decided to keep moving forward and get more RC drilling and DD done in Ghana and not wait. Now is the time to proceed with this and Len is going for it it big time. The £5.4m raised keeps the plan on track. By July we’ll look back and think what a good move that was. IronRidge has tremdondous logistical Advantage with the ready made infrastructure in place. Len and Vince know where this is going. Keep proving it up and show how open the Resource is. It will be globally significant. It may take a while for Pi to understand that but I expect all battery makers and end users will be looking and watching closely already across all explorers for the big projects with everything in one place. They will have to pay very big money for it and Assore or Sumitomo might have something to say about it all. The Lithium developments in IC and Ghana should be the focus right now but they’re also pushing the gold too. Some numbers I really like are 3km x 1km and words I like are operational synergies. Gold, always believing.
What a ridiculous comment about management. Consider this, who has been doing all the foundation work building up relationships with local and national government officials in Chad, Ghana and Ivory Coast? What would all those officials and village elders do if there was a change of management? Would they work with other people and new management. Imo, not without Vince and Len. So let’s think forward to 2019 and the majors looking at what’s been going on. We know they’ve talked to Newcrest but look at who else is around. If there was to be a JV or even a t/o which I can’t see with the corporate backing we have. What would those majors do? Well they’d buy in Vince and Len for their local knowledge and expertise. As a LTH I’m here because of the geology and because of Vince and Len. I decided to go and meet them last year and again this year and at some point I will look to do a site visit. It’s so easy to say change the management but you show that you don’t have a real understanding of the bigger picture. Go and make the effort to meet them rather than ****ging people off on LSE and twitter. Or failing that, run the numbers and you’ll see a different picture. The disconnect is clear but it’s not because of the management. Look at the commodities sector or Lithium stocks generally on ASX and TSX whether Brine or Hard Rock. One day you will realise just how wrong you are.
£2 performance options granted. Hello, hello. Bring the bacon
Yes, it’s all happening in Ghana at the moment. I credit the team for the way they’ve built the foundations as Vince said. My thinking for the Megafactory is based on the stability of Ghana, the excellent infrastructure, national vision and tax free areas in the region around the ports seem very attractive to me but I’m sure others will be looking at it with a keen eye. Watch this space.
I’ve had another look at the interview with Andrew Scott at M&M and there’s so much in there. The way Vince mentions VW & the MOU with Ghana is most intriguing. The focus on Ghana and Chad for the time being is really pleasing and with Ivory Coast Pipeline looking like it’s going to be rewarding, I have to say I’m really chuffed. Meeting Vince, Len and Eliza again last week was really worthwhile imo. It’s always good to talk face to face and assess the progress while airing a few queries about staffing, drilling and grades. Len answered any questions I had about Ghana Lithium assets and the parcelling of licences into projects. The numbers as discussed elsewhere are really exciting and I believe they are going to prove up a globally significant Lithium resource in a New Lithium Frontier. I like the comments from Vince on storage systems, working with the locals and govt. They’ve built those relationships up really well. Ghana is increasingly mentioned by various sources. My own view is that with 60 Megafactories now being reached and at current rate of growth then 70 could be on the cards by Ausust. (Refer to Benchmark Minerals data and latest announcement from Simon). I think there will be a Megafactory in India soon & also one for Africa, with Ghana being a possible location with it’s excellent infrastructure (Do a little bit of research to see why I got to that conclusion). I think a third Megafactory will be in South America with Argentina or Chile both having a good shout. The timing of IronRidge in Ghana will be perfect imo and the scale, well you can work that out. I haven’t mentioned Dorothe and her friends but again Vince’s comments are great. Bring it on, I say. DYOR
Maybe we need to stop looking at it from the perspective of an AIM investor who’s worrying about a placing. This is not your usual placing. I believe, It’s only the second raise like this by IronRidge. I’ve got no worries and see it as positive that Vince and Neil bought in along with the corporate backers. It’s means there’s cash in the bank to continue progressing ahead in Ghana, Chad and Ivory Coast as stated in the RNS. Let’s Work out what that really means. I look to study the RNS and the geology. Think about who’s at 121 and how busy Vince and Len have been. I left today at 4.15pm at they were full on still. Maybe they’d been going over things with people who have a stronger understanding of the geology. 121 is packed with geologists as well as brokers and fund managers. My understanding and awareness is improving but it takes time. I was talking to someone at lunchtime who knew I was invested in IRR from when I saw him in 121 in May. He was very upbeat with good observations and an appointment. I rarely post on here now but have come away feeling I’m in the right space, I can see the vision materialising and there’s cash in the bank to fund it. The free float is still small because it’s sticky money that took the placing. I’ve got a lot of respect for Vince and Len and will continue to accumulate and back the projects, the scale, the geology and the vision. That’s why I think it was a big buy this morning. People can see what a unique opportunity IRR is. Enjoy & DYOR
That’s right Farquar, VM did use the word salivating. Research around Tekton will reveal why this is so appealing. I still think the ‘Operational Synergies’ and a Pilot plant is an option. IronRidge’s Early Mover Advantage can’t be staged enough imo. There’s hardly any other explorers there. Do you remember the article about underdiscovered and Underexplored Chad? Well IRR & Tekton have changed that. Len has targeted excavations and radio-metrics excellently imo, turning up very promising positions & grades. The Lithium will be big so it’s like a free ride bonus on top of the gold for NotAmused. The gold alone will reach the recent performance options set for 2/3 yrs. still salivating.
Thanks Toro. I’m still here & as strong as ever. I’ll try to contribute more. I’m just focused on 121 at the moment & the run to end of year. I’m on twitter as you know but have been on Hot Copper with ASX a fair bit. The DGR board is very focused on SOLG & DHR right now but IRR will show again soon so I’m looking to post there more too. It’s that time of year when things begin to happen imo. I’m looking forward to discussing progress on the ground at forthcoming events. By the way your visual on organisational structure was excellent and really helpful for anyone investing here. (Highly recommended) As an overview it shows the roles & responsibilities clearly. That is not a structure of an AIM company imo. It’s the structure of an emerging major. If you expanded it to include DGR umbrella companies the links are fascinating, especially when you include the ASX listed companies. New investors here should follow Toro on twitter. You don’t need a twittter account just google him and you can see twitter, I think. I’ve no idea about Facebook but twitter has been great imo. I’ve got so much research on IronRidge but just focused on Chad, Ghana & Ivory Coast now because that’s where the money will be realised.
Hi everyone, I just thought I’d post and say how exciting it is going into the field work season in Chad again. I was looking again at the recent Dorothe RNS (see twitter posts for Hfox1) and I’m impressed by the way progress is being made and methodically advanced in Chad. New geophysics imapping is about to start. Len has done exactly what he said he would. The radio metrics have proved to be a great strategic move and continue to deliver. Dorothe is just one of five assets remember and Echbara could be a better asset. Think about Operational Synergies as previously mentioned in an RNS. The Lithium in Ghana will continue to draw attention and Vince’s attendance at the Lithium conference in Las Vegas was certainly noted. Battery metals are being discussed at 121 Event in New York today at 9.00am (NYC time) then there’s a Lithium section of presentations. This is just another event that illustrates the squeeze on the EV and battery sector. London to come in November. The USA is waking up to the supplychain lithium issues. I expect IronRidge to do what Vince pointed out a while back in an interview with IG. Push on for a rerate by end of year based on the double focus of Lithium and Gold. Ivory Coast is what I’m also looking forward to wrt Gold and Lithium. So much going on there. I’m not too worried about the intraday swings and I’m still accumulating. The small freefloat here means this could move quickly at any point. The strong support of long term holders and the overall knowledge and understanding of the portfolio has always been impressive. The collective research is as good as any share. This isn’t your usual AIM share, the corporate backing makes it stand out together with the strategic leadership of Vincent Mascolo and a very strong BoD. Len’s approach in Chad is brilliant. He’s into something and I’m backing him big time. DYOR stay positive and don’t get bogged down with intraday prices imo.
I’m happy with that RNS
Steadily she grows and Vince & Len continue to piece things together. This time in Ivory Coast at the Kineta Project. Sizeable extensions and the overall acreage and the way things are pieced together is impressive. All those Majors nearby will be taking note. This is just the start of the newsflow. It’s the 13th RNS in 2018, there were 45 in 2017 and I believe about 35 in 2016. So work it out and draw your own conclusions for the rest of the year. When will people have a little more faith in the quality of leadership at IronRidge? Vince is manoeuvring pieces extremely well imo. Traders get too edgy and LTH know it’s coming but not quite how big it will all be, just yet. The news from Chad & Ghana could just explode onto the global stage as a major disrupting influence. Lithium, think and dream big.
Thanks Toro. I get stretched at times between Hot Copper, ASX and Twitter on AIM & TSX, that it leaves little time for LSE. But this is where I started years ago, just trawling through and looking for stocks with graphite and metals, before focusing in on Battery metals and gold. One point about Chad. It certainly was underexplored and the only infrastructure was from Exon & oil I think. IRR have early Mover Advantage. I believe there is a SA company exploring but on a smaller scale to the north of Dorothe. You make a good point about focusing on the Lithium and then the Gold. It’s too vast otherwise. I always told people to start with Indaba15 presentation, specifically wrt the Iron Ore. But now I agree start with Ghana. I put all the Ghana RNS in a tweet yesterday which seemed to grab attention. You’re right though, anyone New should just ask questions on the background, PF, countries, BoD or grades. People are supportive. There is a lot of knowledge gathered collectively over the last 3 yrs. unlike other boards this never used to get attacked or deramped. I hope that’s still the case. Imo there’s a big push between now and Dec so enjoy the ride. .
But there is an unanswered question. Which I’d bigger? The Titanium could well be bigger than the Bauxite. Two outstanding assets. Melior Resources are in production with Titanium in Queensland but the Lithium & Gold are rightly our priority.
Although the M/Cap is £62m today I’m expecting it to be a £1bn M/Cap as has been discussed in the past. Not your usual AIM company but far too many people skim over it and don’t read the detail in the RNS or join the dots to realise that. Everything is available to be researched. The Battery metals sector & demand squeeze is a rare opportunity for investors to be part of for the next 10-15 years. Getting in early with IRR with that level of corporate backing and expertise in the sector just ticks all the boxes. The fact that many people want to jump to or chase stocks with multiple placing astounds me. I know some are playing a different game but the opportunity is clear here and there are too many P&D. Sumitomo source NCA for Panosonic, who source for Tesla. Tesla’s projections are amazing. Panasonic are also building their own gigafactory in China right now. I’m May, the expectation for global gigafactories was about 36 (at the Benchmark event in May) that was upped to 40 in Las Vegas. People are now talking about 43 being built and at different stages by EoY. Then consider the gold in Chad and research Tekton minerals. Really Dorothe isn’t the best asset imo and Dorothe is spectacular. Iron Ore in Gabon really is a World Class resource. As soon as the Fe price for 62% Fines stabilises at US$85 imo then people will understand why the company is called IronRidge. (Go back to the Indaba 2015 presentation to understand the value and consider what impact cleaner furnaces in China and stricter regulations will have). There’s so much in IronRidge. Research, research & research.
Earthling, I’m invested and will continue to accumulate. My two sons both have ISAs with IRR as their main holding. My wife has a trading account and an ISA and I have an ISA and three trading accounts. I’m extensively researched and like the business model. I’m not too worried about the intraday swings but was interested in the strong support shown today and on numerous previous occasions. I’ve tweeted today a few times on the scale and also listed all the Ghana RNS back to Juky 2017. The progression here is clear to see. We are waiting on assay results but I dont get too hung up about the end of July expected date. It’s exploration and there are often delays & the demands on the labs are extremely high at present. Also anyone who’s been to Africa knows that delays happen but things still get done. One thing I’m totally convinced of is that there’s a lot of upside to come. Vince, Len and the team are working flat out to achieve fair value for investors. This isn’t your usual AIM outfit and should be viewed differently imo. No one else is doing what IronRidge are. Vince is moving things forward and covering all angles. It’s like three or four companies in one. Multi-Commodity over 11 provinces with possibly 5 Tier 1 assets. The Lithium, EV & Battery sector is causing one of the biggest Disruptions Globally, ever. The ‘Big Deals’ are getting bigger, just look at CATL and feel the squeeze. The Lithium squeeze is on and IronRidge are about to disrupt the sector and conventional thinking. Perfect timing to enter a perfect storm. Have a great weekend. Many IRR LTH & posters used to be on LSE but don’t post as much now. Although I appreciate not everyone is on Twitter so we should post more on here. Hfox1
Bravo Toro. An excellent observation & summary. This continues to be a real gem & rare opportunity. Peer comparisons are difficult because as far as I’m aware nobody is attempting to do what IronRidge is currently doing. I totally agree that it’s boredom and lack of patience that makes people jump. So be it, I’m not bothered. It’s clear to see the gold & Lithium are still in the ground across the Cape Coast & in Chad. The Iron Ore in Gabon is still there too and worth keeping an eye on as the Commodities cycle continues to bounce and China demands for good grade Fe grow to meet the furnace regulations. I don’t think Vince will have any trouble getting an excellent deal around the Lithium going forward. Look at recent deals globally and a further demand squeeze as Modi in India look to acquire Lithium supplies. Tata & Mahindra plus Andi on full throttle. Assays due at the end of July but I always factor in a little delay. So much else to come and we know that Vince can put out 3 or 4 RNS in a week. Confirmation of exactly how much Lithium is there will propel this to new territory imo. As Vince stated in his latest interview, he’s expecting a serious rerate by EoY. Maybe AIM just doesn’t recognise the quality before it or maybe people aren’t prepared to read through the detail. I’m not sure but fully expect a lot of interest as Vince & Len start to tell the world. I’m sure Vince’s presence in Vegas will have caused a stir. As you say cream always rises & we have a big pot with a lot of cream in. I very rarely post on here anymore but continue to research around EV & Battery metals, processing of Spodumene & logistics for the next stage. GLA & DYOR HFox
I haven’t posted here for quite a while as I’m primarily on twitter now and on ASX stocks. The comment about Chad is interesting and something I was concerned about in 2016 when the move to Chad was first muted via the JV with Tekton. We did discuss logistics and potential negatives around all of the African assets and countries then. I looked at all the regions and location of Dorothe, Echbara, Am Oucher etc. Any questions and concerns I had were dispelled after meeting Len & Vince. I don’t feel the need to visit Chad right now and would prefer them to continue with the progress on the ground. To be honest I wouldn’t want to be in the way. When this delivers to the my expected levels then maybe one day I’d like a site visit. The geology side of things is fascinating and the opportunity to be in the field with Len and some of the geologists looking for gold veins, old river beds, Pegmatite identification or to interpret the radiometrics would be a rare opportunity. However, companies need to be focused and not worrying about where visitors are. I would have no qualms about going to Chad though or Ghana, Côte D’Ivoire or Gabon. The Tekton guys were there exploring for three years, I believe SRK were there too and Len, Vince and the team speak warmly about the place and people as well as the tremendous assets. If you have concerns then it’s well worth going to an event to hear it first hand from a company representative or member of the BoD. Early Mover Advantage in Chad is hugely exciting because it’s enabled Vince to acquire the land almost by stealth. Dorothe is ‘Spectacular’ remember and not fully assessed. It might not be the best of the gold licences even. As for the Lithium in Ghana. I believe a fantastic story is emerging and IronRidge continues to be under the radar. Scale and location are all important and IRR have both in Ghana (actually they have both in all the countries they’re in). I won’t go into the rest of the assets again. This is a rare opportunity imo and Vince is doing a great job of building a giant Step by Step. Hfox
