Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
And the moon is made of cheese. Love your optimism though. Personally I'd just be happy to see 67p again (my average) but even that is wishful thinking
I like to travel hopefully and welcome this optimistic moment. Could SP go higher? Of course it could. Equally it could go lower. Take your choice. Buy more or sell. Just enjoy the ride
insider information?
Copper 1, I love your optimism. Great way to begin the day
A polite correction to your blog.
The dividend is paid on the face value of the shares (10p) NOT the market price of the shares. This makes some difference to your theory
I thought the site was for discussing Lloyds shares?
Bought more for my grandchildren yesterday. With a yield like this whats to complain about?
Yield on current price 5.51% and not affected by brexit chaos. Safe return without stress of watching Lloyds ordinary shares go up then go down and down
Having watched all my blue shares turn red, a special dividend instead of buybacks would have been a welcome relief.
"Ah, take the cash in hand and waive the rest;
Oh, the brave Music of a distant Drum! "
Anyone know if Gore Streets battery storage unit at Boulby is anything to do with Sirius?
The yield of 6.39% is very good. Despite the Deepwater problems. the dividend has held steady. I think that a dividend increase is on the cards and at the current deflated price BP is a BUY
Is it Toscafund increasing stake prior to takeover? is it the prospect of higher premiums cos of Gov changes? And GOCO doing quite well also.I enjoy my moments of happiness even if they do prove to be shortlived. By the way does anyone know the supposed value of a GOCO share at the time of demerger?
Finally £6. Whatever next? I'm almost feeling optimistic again and that's dangerous.
After years of holding RSA (since 1999) and the value going down and down things do seem to be healthier now and although I'll never get my money back even if they reach 6.50 one has to remember that they are still a take over target and the steady movement up could mean more than post brexit euphoria?
Somebody increasing their stake? A suitor? its a thought.
Best day for a while though I'm still way down. I'm holding though because I think that finally the future with this company could be bright and we must not forget it is still a potential take over target.
Your dreams have come true Stormer albeit a few days late. I want to have a few more of these (good yield) but think I'll wait until after the election. I'm looking to buy at 204ish if I'm lucky. I think it's an ok company but the shares just yo yo and don't really have any drive. Although nobody talks of them as a take over prospect, they're small and a take over has to be on the cards.
True, but as one who absolutely hated their advertising, is GoCompare much of an asset? Thankyou Goldenshares for giving me good reason to dream on.
Is Esure a takeover target? Would welcome your opinions.
Here we go. The future is up. With all my other shares down, I'm feeling positive about this one or is it hopeful?. It's been a bad week.
