Does Raynor support (NSIP) mean government funding will follow or am I being naive?

Similarly in Cornwall an old tin/copper/silver mining area may soon have a new lease of life because of soaring tin prices. there is obviously plenty of serious money backing these projects. Also worth a punt. I was a bit late on the scene and so paid 6.63p per share. DYOR

Im feeling lucky today. Not very scientific approach but that's how I make most of my choices, on a wing and a prayer. Price of tin high and rising. what's not to like. Bought some at midday, didn't rock the market. Fingers crossed

You're right billions not millions. Your share group made a wise decision to get out of Lloyds; something I've been wanting to do for years but frightened to turn the paper loss into a real loss. Because i've held Lloyds for years and for my sins added to them I've fallen into the trap of becoming 'emotionally' involved and have lived under the illusion that they 'MUST' regain their former glory. I'm realising, not in my lifetime. No fool like an old fool. I wonder how many more there are like me out there. Time to grasp the nettle?

We've all seen these millions of pounds of profit disappear in buybacks only to watch the share price slide even further. Time for a change and return these cash surpluses in ordinary or special dividends . I'm sure that most small shareholders, like me, would prefer the cash and it wouldn't hurt the big Pension Funds. Am I alone in believing that the buybacks are somehow very good for the self serving directors and their bonuses or am I being horribly suspicious

Decided to be sensible for a change and so I sold half my holding and locked in a bit of profit. I'm optimistic about the rest but there are so many influencing factors, inflation, escalation of the war in Ukraine, the next election??

We are told the NAV has gone up. The yield at 94p has now risen to 8% and everything seems rosy. What's not to like? So why is the share price dropping like a stone. What is going on that I don't understand? Somebody please explain the logic to me.

Sizeable selling but only very modest buying. Does somebody know something that I don't? It seemed a nice safe little earner, now I'm not so sure.

Well, I've had 13 years of good dividends I suppose, then about 4 weeks ago bought some more as the price slid. As always too greedy

34p and a yield of 33%
I've enjoyed 13 years of regular dividends from this share and decided to buy some more when they had dropped to £1.08. Doh!!! Is anyone brave enough to buy more now? I'm tempted to average but don't want to prove myself more financially incompetent than I already am.

Through my own stupidity and eternal optimism I held on to these shares and am now showing a 97% loss on my holding. Is there any glimmer of hope that these gas and oil reserves will ever see the light of day. Also I guess that anything produced would be an EU asset not a UK asset?

If you accept that inflation is lurking round the corner it is better to be in this share than out. Unexciting, yes but solid with a dependable yield. What's not to like? I like to sleep at night. I shall be topping up at every opportunity. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

AND (I'm on a roll) they don't inspire investor loyalty by BUY BACKS when they could have paid a dividend. I should change my blog name to disgruntled
