seen_it_done_it : ouch! you win. I'm only down £20000 or so in paper terms but then I've had nearly £10k in divs over the last few years so maybe I should have sold at a loss and re-invested elsewhere to make a quick buck or two. God knows if you had timed it right during covid you could have easily made +100%. I knew (well guessed more like) Barclays was cheap at sub 80p and BT at £1.00 and RR at 62p (bit risky mind)....but didn't have spare cash. Oh well, at least I have a job :)
Hahahaha guys...if nothing more your *****ing at each other brightens my day!!! LOL. I am very negative about VOD with my average being 1.87 but I live in hope....I know it will turn around but having my cash tied up in VOD I missed the opportunity to make a lot of money during COVID. Then again, with hindsight we'd all be millionaires!
Its f'ing shocking. Yesterday FTSE fell and VOD fell MORE. Today FTSE rising and VOD hardly rising at all. Seriously **** f'ing share. Can't wait to sell and get rid of it. Happy to sell at a loss and take a £10k hit but even for that I need it to get back to 150p. Got money tied up in this ****e that I could have invested in Lloyds or Barclays and made a killing over the past couple of weeks!
Last week up days were a dead cat bounce. If you timed it right you could have made 50% last week and then buy em all back for cheaper this week (not just VOD, Barclays were awesome 75p to 1.05 - did I have the balls? No! LOL). Still got a long way to drop imo when COVID-19 **** really hits the fan.
I just don't get it. When the market goes up, VOD goes down. When the market goes way way up, VOD barely moves. When the market goes down, VOD goes down. Whatever happens we lose. **** share but I'm trapped in at average 1.87. Yeah, I know. Ouch. I'm about 30K down on VOD but I made 15K on other shares and about 7.5K in dividends over the past few years so I'm hoping to eventually claw most of this back before i throw the f**** out the window and never look back (5 - 10 years i reckon at this rate). Wish me luck, I'm going to need it!
It's cautionary because it's using http (clear text) and not using https (encrypted) and there is no valid trusted certificate (certificates are only used on https os if its using http only, no need for certificate). This is seen as bad practise these days. Just don;t post your password on here :)
