so true
Both angus energy and UKOG can pump out a thousand odd barrels per day ,give and take a few hundred. UKOG is grossly overvalued and angus energy undervalued. Angus has as much oil as UKOG. Your assessment is correct "Because when they drill an oil well they find that there isn't as much oil there as they thought or it decides that it'd rather stay in the ground than be pumped to surface." market values of both companies on oil should be around £10 million. UKOG has burnt lot of money and has TOO HIGH OVERHEADS and extortionate salaries.
A year ago, when interims came out bad news regarding Brockham dropped here like a nasty bomb. This year may be opposite.

Are there any indications regarding a response from the EA regarding Brockham and restarting production from the Portland? Asked on 31 March 2020
As noted in an earlier question our application has been delayed by a supporting report from a third party contractor due to a bereavement. Nonetheless we note that, to our knowledge, there are no further field reports which would require breaking lockdown which would be needed before submission. We also note that most regulators remain very responsive in this lockdown and have embraced remote working and decision making.
I meant this year not this quarter
Approval is an excellent result in such quick time. We will definitely be producing/selling gas this quarter. Hopefully, the second application will meet the same fate in record time. Meanwhile, design work, and equipment procurement is imminent, just few weeks. Balcombe application should be in too next week. It will definitely be the case that interims will be published with an upbeat statement and liquid cash. I think we will see 2P this month. DoneK -great find. RNS tomorrow most probably.
everything is possible with delivery. there has to be some decent news.
Can we just all agree to disagree. I believe Angus energy will succeed and everyone has the right to disagree with me. I am already winning and intend to win a much bigger prize. Last time the doom and gloom merchants came out in full force, the SP flew from 95 to 125 only a few weeks ago. With interims due in the next two weeks I believe history is about to repeat itself . Ocelot says a year ago ,soon after the interims brockham news came out causing heavy falls. lets hope interims come this time with something very positive to exact proper revenge.
I think you need to give a few days more for the council to upload the application. its covid19 delay. things are generally slower all around.
again, interim accounts will be revealing the cash position. I don't think there is any placing/fund raising in the near future. There is adequate cash to complete the two critical projects. but lets wait for the interims later this month.
Half year report is due in the next two weeks(last year was on 24th June). by then planning application for Balcombe would have been done. Gas off take agreement would have been signed. Cash at the bank would be confirmed. and there will be directors comments on progress. so its something important to look forward to.
MichaelG, you may be referring to "my punt". Since my punt I have upgraded to investment and have set aside some decent money for massive top up this month. I have also upgraded my target price form 1.5p.
And frankly, when valuing, I ignore current commodity prices. If doom and gloom mongers are to be believed I might as well sell all by BP, Lloyds Glencore, BT, Vodafone etc as the world is ending. prices will be zero and we all will be bust. Life goes on and so does the world. Covid19 is not the first plague hitting this planet. and the world is better equipped to deal with such disasters and it is dealing with it. Look around and you will see that the world is opening up , albeit with some justifiable fear. Either way, you must own your decisions. good luck to all.
SF will be profitable and cash generative. off take gas agreement, finalising tenders for equipment procurement, response on first application all within weeks.
Balcombe application should be submitted anytime soon as per operational update, matter of days not weeks.
Brockham was for sale but now the company is considering resumption of extraction extraction from Portland reservoir as nothing from Kimmeridge.
All above on company website.
the trolls and the rampers will soon get their answer, its all about delivery and income generation from gas and oil.
absolutely correct.
MMs are not allowing the sellers to get back in cheaply. the bid and offer is rising steadily.
As the company says "We think that in the current oil price environment there are one or two game-changers and company-makers out there likely to be shed by larger players as being inappropriate to their cost base. If we see one, we are ready to bid, but our main focus, as repeatedly said, is still delivery, delivery, delivery at Saltfleetby and Balcombe."
great. then sell and move on. what are you doing here.
why on earth would they do that when the next few weeks are packed with good news on multiple fronts and the company has adequate cash resources.
sub 1P offer is now gone. 102 to buy
we should be hearing about Balcombe application next week and there should be progress on Brockham. there is lot to look forward to for new investors like me in the coming weeks. meanwhile the bid is getting stronger.
absolutely. sell when you produce in the winter when gas prices will be higher for cash. focus should be production of oil and gas in chunky quantities.
the company did say that payments will be made for procurement in July. gas off take agreement /equipment procurement are all tied in. Balcombe application coming in couple of weeks. all gas applications done. its is onwards and upwards from here.
