Don't assume helium means methane gas. Yes, it can be extracted as a byproduct of gas production (Qatar, Siberia), but can also be in water (Helium One in Tanzania) or CO2 (Blue Star in Colorado).

There is a licence condition for 3D, which PG identifies as the next step. That is expensive over a large area (100+ square km?). A sale would be a quicker route to value crystalisation. It's the time vs money trade off.

I wonder if that is the reasoning for all the paid for analyst notes? Not for PIs or even majors, but to back his position with AG. I wonder if the authorities are not as supportive as PG states? E.g. requirement for expensive 3d. Is it all a rearguard action to hold on to the Morocco licence as long as possible? Do we know if other licence areas have similar conditions?
