Note how all the effort is going to downplay the size of the asset.
Note the lack of mention of the permian (we know there is light oil, gas and condensate in the lower reservoirs which is all highly moveable)
As I have said before, I am here because of the asset and I fully expect to see a big player take the asset at market value. The KRG are aligned to receive their pound of flesh when it gets sold, this will ensure a market value price and not a back door giveaway (at least I hope so but you never know with these thieving gits)

This board has ruined this company for their own benefit. If anything, they should be being held to account a lot more.

Diversified out of Kurdistan and built a secondary revenue stream off the back of the then incoming monies.
Doing that would have strengthened GKP's position and kept a shorter leash on the monetary position.
If that had been done, funds would not be in Kurdistan solely and there would be a different overall view as to the vulnerability of GKP.

The only exception to this scenario is if there was a deal years ago dependent on a certain set of circumstances being met.
This could include oil law, regional stability, market share or a lot more that we could not possibly envisage.

There were very many scenarios that could have been played out by the Ferret but he chose to line his pockets and throw shareholders under the bus instead.

If this initiative goes ahead then I agree, I think Shaikan is one of the key fields that would come under US influence as there is enough information known about it to put a plan in place that could be brought to fruition quickly given the appropriate resources. The formation has not been destroyed by over production (let's face it, the inept JF couldn't keep to his own low target) unlike other fields in the region and given proper reservoir management, Shaikan should have a very long life indeed.
It would mean having multiple rigs onsite and a proper operations team which would necessitate getting rid of almost all of the incumbent infestation of the board and having some oil professionals come in and do some actual work instead of sitting in the office, firing the workers whilst helping themselves to the money as has been happening.
I have never seen a marxist oil company before but this one comes close.

I make no secret of my contempt for the lying, thieving idiot that is Jon Ferrier and I can assure you that my meagre holding of GKP shares contributed to the circa 30% of other shareholders that voted against him.
My point is that it is not only myself that can see through the fraud, other larger holders see it as well and the number is increasing from the last time he was voted in. Holders are tired of his troughing and lack of performance.
He needs to go and the sooner the better.

$20M divided by 2 months = $10 per month

With that amount of votes, at least one of the instis has an issue with them.

The issue is that the company has a $10M monthly run rate without the debt repayments so is still running at a loss and these guys have no spine or inclination to do anything about it. They ahve coasted along since being instilled in the position.
Useless and out of their depth so not the larger shareholders look as though they are going to take things into their own hands.
Heaven alone knows where that leaves us LTH though.

Debt confirmed at $100M REPAYABLE in 2023 which costs $10m per year on top. Yes he waffled on about costs cut which equate to $11m BUT, if the debt was repaid then the annual saving would be $21M (or $63M by the time the debt is due)
No FDP submitted yet which stops them releasing a CPR as I described previously

Full of waffle and nothing solidly positive there, they are out of their depth dealing with their masters and need to be replaced.
