Why not just close the doors years ago? He been milking more cash from shareholders since the delisting?

Surely nobody "in their right mind" would keep hanging themself with more rope, month after month like ABH has.

Been quiet here for a few weeks... again, what would be the value in this being a lie?

I doubt ABH wants to make the target on his back even bigger. The quote from many moons ago "Value will be delivered to long-term shareholders"... I doubt anyone imagined it would be this long.

Like the level-headed ones on here, I will await news from my broker, failing that I will assume nothing is happening. Checking in with them every day is a waste of time.

No... it's still vague and doesn't breach (or reveal) anything:

1) Doesn't say the buyer's name

2) Doesn't break anything down - nice round number (that's strange!)

Like a football team agreeing to sign a player with them still being under contract with another team. Letting the seller announce the deal first. (If the player even exists in this case - if real, would be nearing retirement already...)

If this is "a scam" - why not just wind up the company years ago?

This has too much beef on the bones to be a charade - my feel is that

a) AbH is buried deep enough, if it was a no-go, then just wind up the company and be done with it. It happens!

b) Acquirer is stock listed and this needs extra approvals and Escrow cash to be moved before confirming details

IMO nothing will happen until Tuesday - the acquirer could be stock listed, making any announcement price sensitive.

If UK-listed, it won't be tomorrow, due to Bank Holiday.

Two options:

1. It's all mumbo jumbo

2. We are waiting for a bigger fish (buyer who is stock listed) to announce first, as could be price-sensitive... maybe after hours (US)?

An update - so another delay?
