how many sseg's would it need to replace a conventional power station? I'm pretty sure NG dont generate power, just provide the means to transport it round the place. somehow I cant see it being profitable to try and harness sseg into the grid. not yet anyway, unless it become very commonplace.
well i think i'm persuaded to hold. the future prospects look good, so i will prob let go some of my other shares which are not moving and top up. thanks for your views.
whats your view on the rights issue, take it up or sell before the date for a profit? i feel the long term potential of this company is good and the management team appear to be proactive rather than reactive in shoring up the companies finances. i think i'm going to hold but if the SP continues to rise i may be tempted!
Yes it looks a good bet, but what if the banks won't support them for breaching their covenants? Previous SP is not an indicator of future SP.
Don't forget, as i always keep carping on about the majority of trials fail, so don't expect the shares to go up just cos the drugs are in phase 3! They have been a decent money earner for me but that has been buying low selling on a high. the statement just released and the share drop did not tempt me back in this time. Good luck.
Doesn't look promising with a statement like that. Any prospects of one of their trials partners buying in, or anymore payments from clinical trials milestones likely in the near future?
TD showing buys at 4.5 and sells at 3. the spread is massive this morning!
thanks for the info. what does this mean for shareholders, will we be given a 1 for 1 offer or a discount?
just had a corporate action listed in my TD account. there were no details attached to the note and the only thing i found was some document about shares at 48p and a renaming as FP group? i might have totally got the wrong end of the stick as rather fried from a hard day at work!
Wish i was a journo, prob earn a lot more than i do now! I did buy this for a profit, and can wait till it gets to where i want. I wouldn't have bought in if i didn't think it would rebound, though its nice to see some positive news for a change. A buyer might wait till there is a more substantial turn around in FP, though the signs are promising. Why the fear of fishy named hacks?
Interesting article. At least paints a rosier picture for the future. I Still think i got a good wait before i get a decent return on the 65p price i bought in at. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/investing-and-markets/article.html?in_article_id=483703&in_page_id=3
clinical trials success is not a formality either. roughly 40% make it through phase 3 trials and the odds of success are much worse for the earlier phase 1+2 trials. This is by no means a dead cert.
The latest news didn't fill me with confidence! if the discussions with the lending bank go well and they are willing to give IPI a good couple of years to get things sorted, then i think we're laughing. if they want to pull out, then we have a problem. Still a risky share, but does have potential. As they say DYOR.
interesting that a lot of people are talking bear rally. i can't quite decide on the scale of the drop back or how long, but have recently bought a lot of defensive shares when they dropped (good divis) with the wifes money as cover. unfortunately there is no way in hell she would allow me to use her money for shorting or risky penny shares like AZM (obviously i must win lottery or work harder)! unfortunately i have always been cursed by being optimistic regardless of the gloom (but that hasn't stretched to buying any more BT shares, yet).
I'm still debating whether to jump in again on azm on the slump. if my hunch is right could be a nice payday, if wrong it will be another long wait for good news! Interesting times ahead for the pharma shares you mentioned. both look to have potential and one of them has the holiest of holy grails, money to burn. I'll keep an eye on them, but until i can free some money from my toxic assets (banks, builders, retail) i'm broke! Have a look at IPI, very risky but potential, and has bounced up a little recently allowing a profit take. GL
you still in these? i nipped in and out again for a nice profit. I have a funny feeling that the board change may be due to a takeover in the offing. the guys been there from the beginning and as has happened with the pharma company i work for, get rid of the old, in with the new and bingo takeover time! its only speculation though and it will be interesting to see what happens in the very near future.
when the spread was 0, and the price 3.75 td offered 0.9 to sell??????
thats a fair few buys sneaked through today. news imminent?
thought it was next week for ex div, the 5th Nov, thats what was quoted on thismoney?
Share price has been taking a bit of a hammering the last two days! If this continues i think I might get back in again and hold.
