Golf57 - Please see the Circular which says "Such authority to expire on 30 June 2026 or if earlier, the date of the Company’s AGM in 2026, save that prior to its expiry, the Company may make offers or enter into agreements which would, or might, require equity securities to be allotted (and treasury shares to be sold) after such expiry, and the Directors may allot equity securities (and sell treasury shares) under any such offer or agreement as if such authority had not expired." If a Company includes an authority to raise up to £5m, it doesn't follow that they immediately need or will raise £5m.
