Personally wouldn’t touch it as they were on very dodgy ground pre COVID, A buyout may be an option but I’d rather invest in other companies that have been hit hard but are on a far stronger financial footing. My hope for IAG is they can pick up some bargains on the other side which will consolidate their position and SP further. But that’s just my musings and I wouldn’t take any notice of me let alone expect anyone else too :) GLA

Makes a massive difference on logistics as Pfizer’s needs to be stored at -70, Basically only specialist containers - Vehicles - Premises with specialist equipment can be used but with Oxfords pretty much all those hurdles are non existent so would be an even bigger game changer, As previous these are only my thoughts so please don’t take as gospel but I’m quite excited that the light is getting brighter at the end of the tunnel.

Uptheladder, I’m not sure about this price dropping I think a lot depends on the Oxford Vaccine ?? f reports are to be believed the storage and cost is significantly lower and far easier to store than Pfizer’s and many more doses will be readily available in the UK as Astra are turning them out like sweets. The smoke signals are saying theirs a massive gearing up across the country with regards getting places ready and people in place to administer the jabs. Not sure they would be going into such careful planning unless they were pretty sure it works, But they are just my thoughts GLA on however you play it,

You seem very up to speed on Bitcoin have you looked into the mining side? I’d be intrigued to know your thoughts on whether you think that side of it has any legs

Not going to lie I had no idea what Bitcoin mining was or any idea how it worked but after stumbling across this share and doing a little research on it I become intrigued to where it could lead especially after reading their financials and investments, Now I’m really non the wiser on the intricacies of mining and don’t think I’ll ever truely understand but this seems a cracking investment and I’m sure more would jump on board with more PR.

Eck he must be worth a few quid now ! Saying that the first transaction involved pizzas at today’s prices the buyer bought them for approx 80 million dollars, expensive meal that lol - It’s head spinning stuff but as i say I found it intriguing hence a small punt.

Don’t fully understand the systems or
Processes and I don’t think I ever will :) but when my little ones grow up I do believe crypto’s will be far more common for their generation hence why I invested a small sum for them. They may look back and say what a plonker or that was some foresight im guessing the former lol

Couldn’t agree more , I’m fairly new to these boards but the constant deluge from the usual suspects was tiresome to say the least, especially when you were having to sift through all that to read worthwhile comments and views of which there are many, Hopefully now everything’s stabilised a bit the ones that were staying away or not posting as much due to the daily nonsense return.

I sold some of mine pretty much at the days high as need a new car still holding my initial outlay so more than happy to now let it ride for as long as it needs, think we will see another jump on the Oxford news fingers crossed !

Yep think the main players shares will carry on in an upwards trajectory now as the strong will buy the weak giving them a far bigger slice of the pie at favourable rates.

AJ Bells was the same couldn’t trade a bean - Even so more that happy with today’s uplift it’s been a cracker of a day - Hopefully that spells the end of some of the planks on this site too so a double dollop of good news lol
