Brexit always meant anything you wanyted it to mean, and apparntley we can never undo the decision. No deal means no deal even if its in 2 years time. It doesn't mean we have to cede Ulster from the Union or build a hard border. 39bn is a good price for 2 years access to EU markets while we make our own trade deals - unless your objective is to deindustrialise this country, do away with th wellfare state and put the entire working class on zero hour contracts as in Victorian times.

Well said Sandy, and I don't disaree, the deal is rubbish, the deal was always going to be rubbish, project fear told you so. Daivd Davis talked twaddle on Question time and a bloke in the audience told him so. He had 18 months talkin and didn't get as ood a deal as May got. However, kicking the can 2 years down the road while we can actually start talking to the rest of the world for 39bn is a good deal, and we don't have to be disingenuous about it because if all is sorted in two years, it is a good deal afterall - and if not - no deal and no hard border. What are they going to do - invade Ulster - refuse to trade with us at all ?

No deal is no deal whenever it happens. No further obligations. As hard Brexiteers keep sayin, no-one is oin to rebuild a hard border so there will never be one. No deal means we can leave after two years whether the EU says so or not - just means we won't have a trade deal with the EU - just as no deal end of March would mean we have no trade deal with the EU. Go figure...

The deal May has is the best deal we are going to get. No deal would be a disaster. Norway plus would not be leaving at all... I think the majority of people who work for a living would take May's deal, but we will never know because the MPs do not reflect the will of the people, and the people will not be allowed to vote aain because the self interested roups who broker power in this country will not let them. What people don't realise is we could go along with May's deal for two years while talking independent trade deals then hard Brexit anyway when we were in a better position to survive it. 2 years extra tariff free trade with the EU for 39bn is a good deal.

Project fear described almost perfectly the deal we've been offered. Go and get a confession from the leaders of the multinationals they're lying, they are not. You are jying. You would be perfectly happy to see millions out of work and the rites and wages of those still in work drastically reduced. You clearly feel you would be OK. Don't kid yourself.

And if you believe most of the Weald is the same - it's not if - it's when - for both - and it makes all this infighting stupid.

OK Hope - I give in - you asked for this - its the car companies (and other hi tech) that have said they will go if we have no custumns arrangement you moron. Once the car industry oes, all the software and supply jobs go as well. Reasons to be cheerful - if UKOG do another placing (and the last one was nearly at 1.5p so nothing to cry about) - its a chance to buy more cheaply. If ANGS ruin their hitherto good record of hitting the side of a barn from two paces and don't et good flow rates - its a chance to top up cheaply. If you do not believe there is commercial oil all over the Weald or these UK companies will somehow be prevented from extracting it - why are you here ? Hi Sandy - and what is your view on this assertion that MMs carry naked shorts for as long as it takes - it sounds risky but they are all powerful and eventually PIs do cave in..?

Anyway back to topic. If anybody has been following the UKOG board, someone was saying on their MMs are allowed to hold naked shorts in order to "make a market" ie supress the price as long as it takes to get their paymasters in at the desired price. All we can do is believe in the future and buy what we can afford at lower and lower prices until enouh have sold up for them to get their paymasters in and release the price again.

They will never raise prices when you expect them to because they set the prices. The prices will riase when they decide. Even more unfairly they know who's holding how many and they have their sponsors who will be asking to buy a ceratin amount at a certain price region in a certain time scale and they have the power to make that happen - which means in order to acheve this, they have to get some of us to sell. So some of us have to lose in order for them to win - and that's why price movements never make any sense.

That;s the psycholoy of the shorter and the reason the place we find ourselves is one you are advised to avoid. However - just hold and top up if you canwhenever it feels like death has you by the throat and is about to squeeze and either we go broke or we rise - and then the challenge is in my view even worse because there is the overwhelming urge to sell as soonas you see profit but if you do that - why did you suffer so in the first place ?

I wouldn't do that if I were you... infact I'm not doing that - I'm keeping an equal value and slicing and topping up as needed so to do... but good luck anyway
