TLH1 - The figure is mentioned by PH in the recent "Investor meets Company" Q & A when he discusses how the company is to be compensated for past costs, but if I heard correctly he does NOT say it will be an upfront payment, so as you say, I think wishful thinking.

Mrnaddy100 - several posters have voiced similar views and I would not disagree.

Block have made a good job of packaging up the various Projects so far but they have now more or less gone as far as they can without outside help. Project 3 in particular is going to need deep. deep pockets and much expertise for several years to come before producing any revenue. It is possible there may not be any takers for a farm out on Blocks terms whereas a complete takeover for a few million more could be a much more attractive proposition to entice someone in.

Avi8r - You are totally correct re EG and Antler, my point was that he was not in China as that time as somebody had suggested earlier. (From memory PH retains 42,9% ownership of Antler)

I was just trying to establish in what capacity CNPC were involved - MgBRG96 and yourself seem to be suggesting that there involvement could be more than just contractor.

The other thing is that posters keep mentioning CNPC as a potential farm out candidate but extracts from last year's RNS suggest they are the contractor/service provider on the adjacent site,i.e.

BB - As PH would say a very good question - I was about to attempt a reply but MMR has beaten me to it and once again I agree with 99% of his views.

In particular I agree with his views on time scale and PH.

The latest Block Energy Fact Sheet suggests the Carbon Capture project is included as part of the Project 111 farm out process.

That's not very nice, are you saying that if someone makes a negative comment they are not to believed, what happened to constructive debate.

Anyway, for the record my current position is VERY POSITIVE, but not necessarily any time soon and with reservations about the cash situation, but they will find a way round that.
