Just a question, why are posters saying the shareholder list was updated late, surely Block would not be able to update list before Amati issued the TR1??

Awax - Just for the record, it was not me that lost the £565 - but who ever was trading could just as easily have made £565 in 20 minutes if it had gone the other way.

"overinflated statements put out last year" - Can't argue with that, totally agree with you on that one.
"no real factual info about what Bloe are doing" - Don't agree mate - I hope I am not proved wrong but in my opinion the last RNS which was only three weeks ago was very clear and factual as to where the company were at that time and there should be lots more follow up news to in the near future.

Mal - Don't disagree with you at all on the past events of 2019 but I don't really have any appetite to dwell on the events of 2019 any further, I am a look to the future man and I hope Block / PH have learnt some lessons.

For me the new Benchmark is the Operations Update RNS's of the 17th December and 27th January and I do get the distinct impression that Block are now telling it as it is.

Anyway, only time will tell, but I am fairly relaxed about the situation and looking forward to the next RNS, could even be on Monday.

Cautious - In my opinion the last RNS was quite clear:

"To reduce the amount of gas flared, the choke size has been reduced to a diameter of 9/32" for the remainder of the test, which is expected to continue until 31 January 2020. The well will then be shut-in to measure the pressure build-up and determine technical reservoir qualities, then put back on production at a choked-back rate of 200 boepd to conserve gas and reduce flaring while gas facilities are being installed. "

I would also reiterate that in my opinion the quality of reporting in the RNS's since the end of 2019 has in my opinion improved considerably.

As I said earlier, based upon the last RNS I am envisaging an operations update RNS sometime before the end of February re WR16aZ, WR38 and WR51.

If we start moving into March and have not had an update I may start to agree with you but at this point in time I do not see any reason for concern.

We may also get a progress report on the Gas Early Production Facility (EPF) and the Bago infrastructure.

Looking forward a bit I think the two most important RNS,s in the immediate future may be as follows:

1) An RNS when the gas is monetised in Q2.
2) An RNS when the 3D data has been fully analysed together with confirmation of Block,s strategy re the next two wells of this campaign.

I thinks somebody may have bought £5,000 lots inclusive of dealing fees (£8.95) through Hargreaves Lansdown.

So assuming they were Buys, since 4.00 pm yesterday we have 5 trades (3 @ 1M + 2 @ 1.4M) = 5.8M shares.

And why else would Alastair Ferguson be holding on to his 20,000,000 shares. If in doubt, have a look at his c v on linkedin - He must know his onions!!

Another 1,000,000 buy at 3.9p crept in at 9.19 this morning.

Similar to Friday, over twice as many buys as sells.

Yes Bobby, my thoughts and realistic expectations are very similar to yours. I have got very similar figures to yours jotted down in my book. I like the fact that it looks as though at least 35% of the revenue from the initial wells will now come from the gas.

I think the discrepancy is due to the fact that the additional shares on the LSE board were actually shares granted to Plutus Strategies Ltd in lieu of fees for services provided.

The joint shareholders of Plutus Strategies Ltd are Paul Haywood and Nial Tomlinson.

Further incentive for PH to turn Block Energy around.

Hi Samplemix - ref the the web site page the Overview / Warrants and Options sections are shown dated the 7th Feb, your first post you said the GOG share numbers changed after the 5th Feb so I suspect this information was probably also amended on the web page on the 7th Feb, however as you say the heading still shows the holders section dated 3rd Feb!!
